Gajar ka Halwa/Carrot Halwa recipe
Classic Indian dessert made with carrots, milk, sugar,ghee and flavoured with cardamom! It’s one of quintessential winter dessert especially in North India. It’s rich,creamy and decadent.
Ingredients
1/2cup or 125g ghee
2.5kg grated carrots
1.5ml full fat milk
2.5cup or 500g sugar
1 tbs cardamom powder
250g khoya
1/2cup or 125g ghee
15-20 raisins
15-20 cashews
12-14 chopped almonds
For garnish
100g khoya
Some chopped almonds and cashews
