Gajendra Moksha Stotram is a sacred hymn from the ancient Indian scripture, the Bhagavata Purana. It tells the story of Gajendra, the king of elephants, who was once caught by a crocodile while he was enjoying a leisurely bath in a lake called Trikuta. Despite his immense strength, Gajendra was unable to free himself from the clutches of the crocodile and realized the futility of his own power. In his moment of distress, Gajendra surrendered himself completely to Lord Vishnu, the Supreme God, and prayed for deliverance. Touched by his devotion, Lord Vishnu rushed to his aid, riding on his mount Garuda, and rescued Gajendra from the jaws of death, thus liberating him from the cycle of birth and death.
The stotram continues with Gajendra's heartfelt prayers to Lord Vishnu, expressing his complete surrender and devotion. Lord Vishnu, moved by Gajendra's devotion, arrives on his mount Garuda and releases him from the grip of the crocodile, granting him liberation.
The Gajendra Moksha Stotram is a profound hymn that illustrates the power of devotion and the boundless mercy of the Supreme Lord Vishnu. It teaches us the importance of surrendering our ego and seeking refuge in the divine in times of distress.

Thanks a lot to both Divine Sisters. Hats off to you. My Guru Dakshine is very meagre.....or Am a miser ... Very first " Gajendra Moksha followed by Vishnu Sahasra Nama and Kanakadhara stotra works precisely" or perfectly . (Cleared loans to the extent 5 lakhs in the span of 8 months a great achievement) I get up as early as 3:55 AM and chant these stotras. Also I do recite Hanuman chalisa, Mahalaxmi ashtakam, Runa mochana Nrusimha stotra, Durgha Dwatrishannamavali stotram everyday .... Being an researcher in engg field I certainly claim these mantras or stotras helps a lot. This is also a proven research. These stotras available everywhere in book form ( lot of spelling mistakes ) youtube videos form ( but no lyrics with pronounciation) but I were thinking of chanting these mantras from the past few years ( almost a decade) but I couldn't pronounce properly..... Tried many times and left with a sorry state and pained me a lot.. But I learnt Vishnu sahasranama here from your channel with proper pronounciation which took almost a month. Later learnt Lalitha Sahasra Nama with in a week chanted both morning and evenings for a month but dont know why stopped chanting lalitha sahasranama dont know may be lengthy and too much time or may be Goddess instructions to chant only vishnu sahasranama . I'm highly indebted to both of you. Thank you 🙏🙏
