When I watched the first episode, I wasn’t really creeped out but rather sad at the fact that Yuki definitely dealing with something during an apocalypse. I’m not here to say that this is better than all other zombie movies, animes, shows, etc, but it really is different from most, where the characters stick to a routine that seems so normal and happy, as though the world isn’t crumbling around them. Add the fact that a lot of stuff we saw was mostly in Yuki’s head. I really love this show so far for letting us see through a delusional young girl’s point of view and witness bits and pieces of the trauma and current situations that is going on around her.

Melody just sinks into your heart, it feels good but it doesn't stop sinking deeper, and you realise it's starting to ache

(ok I love Gakkou Gurashis manga and anime), but they aren't similar. some events happen in the anime that happen in the manga. they used 5 vols for 13 episodes ( i believe), but a lot is missing the plane Rii Kun in an eye patch and they weren't afraid to move events around either or cut make something new. I would love for a second season, but it will most likely be after vol 12 ( the estimated time it'll end.

This by far is my favourite song in the sound track the cute but creepy vibe makes this a really great song like how the echo at the end of all the notes gives it a sense of dread and i LOVE IT its so well made. Like if you showed me this before i watched this anime i wouldnt know how to feel about it like i wouldnt know if it was ment to be creepy or not, until you watch it through and you know whats going to happen and all the characters storys and it makes it just the more creepy. [Spoiler warning - If you havent finished the show yet, please dont read any further than the first small paragraph.] I only recently got to watch this show. I knew of the zombie twist and nothing but. I expected a show based on horror but instead I got a show that punched me in the guts with each episode. I didnt expect to watch an anime that made me sad and depressed but also happy at the same time. By the end, I didnt feel empty but I still have a hard time really processing everything. (Mind you, I watched it yesterday as I am writing this) From Megu-Nees Death Reveal, to the final episodes Doom and Horror approaching. Not unrealistic Horror even, not even fantasy driven or wacky shit to save them. Just fairly realistic scenarios of people in distress and hopelesness and Denial. I wanted a Happy End so badly for this show, a true Happy end after all the girls had gone through and then it just wouldnt... give me that. But at the same time it would? Watching Taroumaru come back only to pass away among those who loved him hit me so hard at the end and yet while I was crying I couldnt help but feel happy at the same time. This Anime floored me. Its the second day and I still dont know what to say. To whoever wrote this show up, Thank you for such a masterpiece.

Wow I can’t believe how long it’s been since I saw this show. I’ll admit I never really liked anime before but when my friend back in high school recommended me this and begged me to watch this as my first anime series I was a bit skeptical because first off I saw a bunch a cute anime girls and immediately thought it was going to be your average school girl anime shows but as I watched the first episode the ending of it is what lured me in and I binged watched the rest of the show almost immediately....

Taking cute characters and putting them in a setting filled with fear, sadness and struggle it’s something you’d expect from an entirely different show and that’s the reason I loved the show it’s was something different from any other. I would recommend this to anyone but I’m pretty sure if you’re here on this video to listen to the music box song you’ve enjoyed the show as well.
