I agree so much!! MHA had too many characters and it was more confusing than anything. Meanwhile, Gakuen Alice is more slow paced at introducing new characters and presenting their personalities! I also am a fan of how Alice Academy is a restricted place. The fact that no interaction is possible between the inside and outside of Alice creates moments of tension is so well done! It actually makes you both love and hate Alice Academy

Idk if you read the manga but yes the system is abusive and is one of the early signs of the darkness of the school

I know the series is made for comedy but if there was a Top Ten Worst Schools in Anime, Alice would definitely have a place somewhere on the list. (Like I’m strongly against their rule of students not having outside communication with their loved ones and there needs to be a compromise) Don’t get me wrong I do like this anime, but there’s certain episodes I can only watch from this.
