Not only that , but I believe this is one of the pioneer songs who helped paved the way for the Electro Pop/ EDM genre to become as big and loved as it it today . Just wanna write one Song like this and I swear, I never ever need to go to any work back again... This Track is not just an Evergreen, it's a WORLDHIT!!! Probably the whole planet remembers this Song!!! This (somehow) "cheesy" house track moved more people on planet earth to dance, than anybody ever could imagine. So simple, not even a sophisticated vocal melody and then the chorus... It's almost primitive, but it works 101% and EVERYONE reacts the same way: A smile, a "I know that one!" and your body moves naturally synchronized to the given music. The music is, from today's point of view, let's call it "outdated". Songs of today sound clearly different and perhaps also more developed. It was just the nineties! Without Internet, without social media or viral sailor songs... This one? This song was created in a divine moment of complete devotion and insight, obviously child's play and perky, yet world-class. I could google it, but honestly, does anyone know who wrote this piece of musical art???? The guy is grinning his head off, probably walking through the pedestrian zone in some metropolis and not being bothered by anyone, for autographs, selfie, the whole nonsense. I say: Chapeau! Everything done right. Everything neatly run in, what goes! And I promise you: Even today, where the radio is declared dead and the remuneration of services like Spotify meet a pathetic fraction: Their cash register rings and how this cash register rings!!! Still, since 1990, every day, every month, every year: royalties. At the latest at the next Ü40 party (this means in Germany: Party for people at the age of or over 40) this "Gassenhauer" will be brought up again and everyone, really everyone recognizes it and fills up with goodness & joie de vivre. Even the haters among the listeners, metalheads, jazz avant-gardists, synphonicists... Give yourself a jolt! Everyone needs to dance to this track! You can't deny it!!! Music like it's already in your own DNA. That's what I call divine. And for the makers/singers: An incredible luck & a part of world cultural history. Thanks for reading. Nanananananana...
