A rifleman can control EVERYTHING within a quarter mile. Range earphones are already commonplace right now. They muffle loud noise and enhance small noises.

Nice story except for one fatal flaw. How did the Dominion not notice his muzzle flash when he sent rounds down range at night and not send concentrated fire power towards that location?

@@ronmorton4569 Perhaps you should learn about combat systems. Military flash suppressors are designed to reduce the muzzle flash from the weapon to preserve the shooter's night vision, usually by diverting the flash to the sides, away from the line of sight to keep from blinding shooter, and to secondarily reduce the flash visible to the enemy. Military forces engaging in night combat are still visible when firing, especially with night vision gear, and must move quickly after firing to avoid receiving return fire.

"Aliens" you don't know what their battalion size is considering their advanced weapons...It might be different than what we use in size because of their weapons..

@@hambone5718 you would assume that since it is a “human” commentating that it equates with the human estimate of battalion strength. You don’t get. Battalions of Company size or platoon Size.
