incase u wondered about the taskmaster game because death went to 24 cos she was 12 taskmaster copied her power when it was 24 so he went to 48 which was a nt a bad play

wow, I was just browsing Galactus decks and ideas because he's such an awesome card. Glad you made a deck and showed some gameplay. Can you make more budget decks though? Maybe revisit Devil Dino, Movement, Kazoo, Spectrum. A pool 2 version with one or two pool 3 cards. Getting cards in this game is slow. In 2 weeks I almost managed to finish pool 2.

The Taskmaster thing isn't a bug. He copied Death's doubled Power since that was her power at the moment his ability activated, which was THEN doubled by the Throne room. The Taskmaster's power he gained from Death wasn't buffed itself, and was his new Base Power. So it eventually doubles to 48. Makes absolute sense, and it's honestly a cool combo, ngl.

First, great to see you back, I know you've been quiet about it but SUPER HYPE to see whatever eventual manga product you get out there. Take your time, art is hard! Ironically the reveal of pace and outrageous pricing for the new currency took me from "oh they aren't going to be complete predatory monsters and let you have some agency in card choice" to "holy fucking shit I'm never giving them money ever again." What a shame, but what's to be expected. Just highlights even more how Riot gives a shit about their player base and found a way to be profitable without exploiting addiction.

Galactus is quite choreographed with Psyloche, Electro and Wave with an empty location on enemy side. I just play Mr. X to it and just pass for the next 2 turns while the 3 powered dudes have fun.

He basically can never be viable in the meta and has to be balanced that way. Because if he is he basically shuts down every other wincondition. It has to be a meme card to not make the meta agonizing.

He's not unbalanced, there are tons of ways to play around him and the play patterns are super obvious. I don't think he needs a change, the meta just has to get used to him.

its a hard deck to play around yes but you can ALWAYS insta surrender when you see the play of wave and you dont nave any car to add something to your oponents board. Green gobling, debris, Polaris (to force something into that lane, Shang Chi. The Biggest weakness of Galactus is that you wont have priority almost never. so your oponent disruption will have priority always.

@@KaiserTheDarkWolf I dont think its overpowered. But the meta with this viable is trash. If you either know you win or loose by a turn 4 play its not a fun game. And deckbuilding and experimenting would be uselesss since most strategies are not fun anymore. Sometimes cards have to be balanced not around power but around fun for players. And only playing around one location for most games cuts out 2 thirds of the game, most of your cards and strategies are useless and thats not fun.

The taskmaster thing is very intricate yet is legal, he copies the POWER of the card that you played, even if it's buffed, so when taskmaster revealed death had 24 (buffed) power, which he copied, but because that location takes into account the card stats (not buffed by the location itself) taskmaster became the highest power card there, so he's power is doubled going up to 48

I know she is OP, but I would do Aero over Iron Man. Turn 5 she can have an effect just like Doc Oc pulling their stuff to a lane you plan to destroy. As this deck builds popularity I think that will be important. I also think Cloak is another great consideration over Hulk. Since you should always have Chavez then I see less need for Hulk. Cloak allows you to clear rocks, Goblins etc and incentives your opponent to move stuff to location you plan on destroying. If you move hood and others weak cards to a location with Cloak the opponent is going to also play into that location to win.

Yeah, same issue as a Lockjaw Discard deck, it can have fun swings but it's rather telegraphed so it has low "Cube equity."
