Right? The writers had a different idea with the first season, and then because of the backlash from Tolkien fans they had to change their direction slightly. Obviously, Sauron was always going to fall since the hobbit and lord of the rings had to happen. But the relationship and FEELING between Sauron and Galadriel in season 1 was nonexistent in season 2. 😢

But I didn’t really get that Sauron could be a person. As far as I knew, he was a disembodied eye at the other end of those palatirs.
