Banning mining is the way to go but you will find people claiming "unemployment" reh-teh teh. Meanwhile they are cutting down cocoa farms and staple crops. The very Chinese helping them completely destroy their country will treat them worse than dog's when they are looking for a new environment to go and live. And the way Ghanaian's despise their neighbours e be then when we go see how chickens dey come home to roost when the way we praise white's and asians over our own neighbours will come back to bite us. U are working hard. The leaders are jokes. They are wicked. The minister for lands and forest need to be fired. The punishment for this should be 25 years with hard labour. Any government official apprehended should pay heavy fines and in prison for years. The chiefs needs to be arrested. Ghanaians are jokes. The Chinese are a growing cocoa and they need to market it.. The problem for them is that cocoa from Ghana is top quality so it is well patronised by Switzerland an UK.. Now the Chinese are here to destroy ours... Now when we can't export China comes in to supply... The soil will take about 15 to 20 years to regenerate and by then China has taken up the market share... Who in Ghana and the world thinks that China is after our gold? Not at all... A country that has so much money thet have literally loaned 75% of Africa money.. They are smart.. They know we are hungry.. They won't give you food just like that.. Moreover our president says we are sitting on money right.. If we are sitting on money then the money is in the ground. How do you get the money? Just dig.. Now China won't come and do the dirty work. All they do is give you the push.. They just say... U have money in the ground go to dig it out... Once it's ghanaians doing the digging then the Chinese can't be blamed... If someone tells you to do something bad and you do it then you are at fault if you do.. China is like the devil with eve in the garden of Eden... China.. The deceiver... Ghanaians are Eve and ghana is the garden of Eden.....

For those in the networks with mineral stores, galamsey activity speaks to their quick delight wellspring of salary. Therefore, work is the chief inspiration that offers ascend to galamsey activity in Ghana. The persistent increase in the price of gold has incentivized people living in the legal mining areas to focus on galamsey activities as their primary source of livelihood. The government, Non-Governmental Organization should provide alternative jobs for the inhabitants.
