Even though I have been taught this true gospel, I still tend to drift back to performance to be accepted by God. Father, help me and anyone else who has this trouble to truly "get" this and rest in Your Son's finished work. In the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

Such a good reminder, its so easy to slip into thinking I need to do better or else. And to slip into thinking holyness means perfection of my own efforts. Rather than the position we are in because of Christ finished work on the cross. Thanks paul!!

So so greatful that Jesus brought me to this sermon this morning. My husband wanted to reconcile and refused to sign divorce papers. I decided to give him another chance. Problem is-he is a radical legalist. I have been feeling extremely run down these past three weeks since I let him back. My mom has cancer. I dont need my husband's guilt trips with regards to how I eat medium well steak instead of well done because, according to my husband, there is still blood in the meat which goes against OT scripture. I desperately need Jesus to save my husband. He doesnt like me to eat root vegetables...he is fanatical about other things, too. He is preaching legalism thru hip hop music on his social media channels. Even if he and I aren't meant to be together, I wish Jesus could reach him so he could loosen up. God bless u and ur family Pastor Paul.

How fitting for this time we live in.. September 2021… the subject of Vaccine Passports for attending church services. We just got a message from our leadership asking what was our thoughts on The church requiring vaccine Passports! I’m actually shocked that it sounds like it might even be considered! Maybe and I hope it’s go see who would have an issue if it’s not required. 🙏

Pastor Paul I'm so confused. I got rid of my TV about 2 years ago because I couldn't afford it but then I realized you're right everything on it was so trashy it was actually kind of nauseating. Now I feel bad about not having an TV I don't know if that's being legalistic because I don't want it back? I don't know what to do

Hi Becky. You're welcome to email Pastor Paul directly: www.ccontario.com/pastor-paul (He rarely reads comments on our KZbin channel but he will always respond to personal messages.)

Hey Beckey, not sure if you’ve already reached out to the Pastor but I’ll just share my thoughts. The whole point with legalism is giving us things that we need to do in order to be holy when all we need is Jesus. You having a TV or not is up to you and God. If God gives you a conviction to not have one then go ahead. It’s legalistic if you feel you need to in order to be considered holy or righteous. Righteous only comes through faith. Hope this helps, take care💛

Acts ch 15 coincides with Galatians ch 2. Peter, James & John had to be schooled by Paul.

Legalism = mormon church For God to consider your prayer you must pray in Old English. Temple ceremonies, water baptism, tithing, men are expected to be clean shaven and wear white only shirts to church, women's salvation is dependent on marriage to a worthy priesthood holder in the mormon temple...
