Oh please. He's nowhere near Kamal's craftsmanship. He gives engaging movies for every 2 movies. Note - I specifically meant engaging. He does give interesting ones but that should match with audiences' expectation. What's the point of a single shot movie if it isn't engaging? This is more like a gimmick so that Cine folks would be able to understand but a common audience doesn't care about if it's single shot or not.

Parthiban sir is a very influential actor coz he is able to get A.R.Rahman for music, Rajini, Sarath kumar for endorsement and he had name recognition as asst director of Bhagyaraj. He is acting in web series and ponniyin selvan but most interviews try to paint him as a struggling actor/director.There are ppl in industry for 30 yrs who havent been able to make a single movie inspite of talent like him.Baddy has done as good job interviewing him. But his first film was the only tamil template movie but after that most of his movies were new endevors.Pudiya paadi was typical tamil cinema template with girl marrying the guy raping her and tries to mend but dies in the effort.

In the experimental movies of other actor and technicians, when they don't reveal the tech they followed they are still appreciated but not in parthibans movie for eg- in aporva sagothargal he acted as the dwarf charcter through various techniques and still the magic isn't revealed which are still being talked about Is it because of star cast involved or the screenplay or is it because of exaggerating parthibans plot.
