The screen is insane on this phone, this is my first time experiencing super amoled display. I always had ips lcd but the blacks and whites are breathtaking. The camera is far better than the ones I had and the phones feel fast to me. I have no issues. I also got it almost 50% off brand new.

This is awesome, thanks for doing this. JUST got one of these, after having an AO3s for about 4 years. LOVED that phone! But, as with many Samsung devices, the battery began to bloat, so rather than pay for a new batters AND then probably soon after, another new phone, I just bit the bullet and got the A15. The phone is ever so slightly smaller than the A03s, so naturally, I couldn't use the case I had used on my old phone. 🙄 Thanks to the great tech at my local Best Buy, and Samsung's "Smart Switch" app, the data transfer was extremely smooth and was about 99% intact - all my photos, settings, apps - were all transferred over without a hitch, though there were some very small tweaks I had to reset. FYI, if you have "power save" set on your phone, you cannot set the Motion Smoothness to "high," for obv. reasons, and of course really won't affect the usage.

​ @mkm1015 Its not normal. Mine does not even do that. Also dont use a white background because it Super Amoled. Its called burn in(on oled and amoled). Use a dark theme and darker background. Dark theme also saves battery because the individual pixels is off since amoled has true blacks and whites.

Agreed. Though the bass is average, you can hear it slightly at around 50-75% volume, It's good enough but not the best of all for the segment. But the clearness and loudness, for the price this is very good. It does what it needs and Samsung had always been ahead of the game in speakers, even if they're not a JBL or AKG or even HarmanKardon like the other brands. Also at 100% volume this phone acts like an actual speaker 😂 Just lacked stereo or dynamic sounds. Sad It's only a mono

This is a good review! Thanks! One thing I like especially is the idea of applying certain edits to multiple photos at once. My thing is often b&w viewing, with certain other edits to make a picture look (older), sometimes make it look like it's been in a box for ages and got exposed to at least some of the elements. Like, I'm a fan of taking shots and turning them to bw in post-edit. But it's a slow process, because I'm not looking to just take a color pic and turn down the saturation. I don't think it would fool anybody. They'd know it was originally in color, I know I would. I like to take down the brightness, remove some sharpness, reduce the black element, and the white, change shadowing to make the photo look a little dusty, get it just so. If I could apply all that drudgery to multiple photos in one go, I'd be pretty happy. I also like photos of hollywood actresses from the so called 'golden age' of movies, 30s-50s. And if I find something and get it a certain way, i'd often want to apply that to other pics I find as I go. I've used some apps that were supposed to do some of this, but they weren't what I wanted. Sorry for the long post.

Great budget phone that you can get your hands on and still have everything you want. Got mine for $28 out the door for switching carriers to t mobile. I always switch phone carriers whenever my phone breaks to snag a free phone out the door.

Incredibly detailed and helpful review. The only thing that confused me is the camera. My A51 I could just point, zoom and shoot to get good pictures without using any of the settings. This doesn't look good in comparison. But what is the advice here please, just use the main camera where you can (and video only if essential)?

In india we have 4/6 and 8 gb ram version and also it has 128/256 gb rom version and with one more colour varient of "LIGHT BLUE" colour maybe this all are not available in your country but in india it does... More ram is better for gaming, you can stretch its legs because you have more ram. The chip in it is really good for the price and the extra ram makes a big difference in gaming.

Bought this rather than those fancy expensive models. For average user, they are just practically the same. The LTE version is cheaper and bandwidth is more than enough for daily use. why would you use a 4k video for streaming for small screen? Hi, does anyone know if there is a way to view photos in the default gallery in 2 rows instead of a 3 row grid, the way that you could in previous phones? On my old phone you would be able to see each picture fully with 2 columns of varying height and width, depending on the picture sizes.
