I have spent so much time thinking I was never gonna be a good enough artist, and issues at school and home drove me away from what I used to love more than anything: making art. I've been doing well recently and well I found your videos while looking for some inspiration, and I'm so glad I did! You are one of the few that have given back hope and desire to draw again. Thank you so much! Keep up your beautiful art

Thank you for taking the time to share your watercolor technique and for reminding me to get out my white gauche paint. I really like your watercolor painting. The turtle has all the markings, and it's body is in such nice proportion, (the most difficult part in painting for me is drawing things.) I love the deliberate, yet playful strokes, you make, and I love the colors. The "intentional" splatter marks is such a great technique, to add interest and playfullness to one's painting, and I will be practicing these splatters, on my next watercolor. Thanks again, and I look forward to watching more of your cheerful and helpful videos.

I watched your tutorial before and a friend of mine likes a series called, "discworld." Said series has a turtle with like the world on its back as well as some elephants. I'm using a stencil I found online for the main outline-I remembered your video and am trying to make it galaxy themed...totally didn't do the background first though, hope it still turns out ok...anyway, your piece came out awesome. Will have to find your others in the series.

galaxies are More than 99% black void and for that reason I would use a Lot of black for this type of painting (about 60%-90% usually) Maby even 99% if it looks good and maby I would do more ornamental style aswell

+Puggy Doodles .....Get it through Cheapjoes or Jerry's online. They carry really good products. You don't want to use low end masking fluid. It can stick, leave residue and bubble when you least expect it to.

How do you stop the paper from going wavey
@DramaticParrot7 жыл бұрын
you don't, unless you're not using actual watercolor paper, if you're uing computer paper, there's no way to stop it from being crinkly. but if you are using watercolor paper, then you just have to flatten it with a book when it's done and dry.
