Something important about the i5 version that many people seem to overlook: it only has 8GB of RAM and you cannot upgrade it. I have one and it lags horribly when I open more than 10 tabs of chrome. So if you intend to buy it then always get the i7 version which has 16 gigs of RAM. Here in Vietnam the price difference between the 2 versions are around $210. I dont know about other countries but if you feel its still worth it then by all means buy it. But dont get the i5 version even if you think the price difference is too much

Not at all. There's no dedicated GPU which would be the most critical requirement after a powerful CPU. Even the CPU in it is a lightweight core i7 (1255U) which is geared for balanced performance with less heat dissipation.

I love this laptop and its 2 in 1 feature i use this as a laptop for office use and i also love the back-light keyboard help me get (some) work done at night. Once i am done with a long day of office use i charge my laptop then 1 hour later i use it as a tablet and sit on the couch.

I got the i7/16GB/512GB Galaxy Book2 360 today for $785 shipped from Samsung, before $100 back from Honey. For under $700, this thing has most everything I could need. The difference between the Book2 360 vs the Book2 360 Pro is pretty much just the processor, the spen, and the price. I just don't feel like it's worth the money to to me, to go from the i7-1255u to the i7-1260p.

Chances are you will have multiple files open with multiple layers and you might have illustrator and Photoshop working together. You might need more RAM thank 16 GB and a slightly faster cpu clock than what you get here

This really could have benefited from 16:10 but it’s more aesthetically pleasing that what it adds on a productive level. Outside of that I have to still give the battery a full day test but as of right now… I paid $699 at Best Buy today. What a steal for incredible screen quality, latest processor with 16GB of ram. Can beat an m1 mac while still being an x86 which can play my old school games like red alert 2 and such. I run light apps such as office and software to remote into machines. Battery life and portability are critical here. It’s just amazing that this is all had for $700. Dells XPS new redesigned 13 inch does look beautiful this is 90% of the same with pricing that puts it over the top. What more could you ask for. ***update on the battery. It’s basically false advertisements at 18 hours or anything over 8 hours. Doing work on Teams, Edge, remoting to servers which is mainly all internet traffic, kills this thing in 8 hours. While the computer was decent otherwise that’s unacceptable to be worse than half the advertised battery life. Went back to a Mac that actually gets 2 days of work out of it before dying.

As a beginner in animation, sure, it'll work. But you could be a fast learner, and this won't take on complex animations for sure without getting slow or laggy. This is an over performing laptop for regular office use, so someone who buys it for office work only will be super thrilled with the performance. What you might need is an over performing laptop for professional work, so that when you work on it you're thrilled too. This is an average performing laptop for professional work, it'll sail you through it but it won't be thrilling.

The tab s8 ultra is not a laptop replacement by far. So, if you want a laptop - you'll need to go with book 2. Tab s8 ultra is meant more for consumption in a more passive way. For e.g. it's great for reading an Excel file but not so much for creating and working on an Excel.
