​@leestockton9367 The music of today is PURE GARBAGE! Most of the artists we have today are based on HYPE! I keep an open mind and l listen to new artists coming out all the time. Most of them are just HORRIBLE! In the 70s, 80s,90s and early 2000, 95% of the artists that came out were good. Now 98% of these so called artists just suck. Look at America today when it comes to music. There is no NEW genre that is coming out of the US. Yet for more than 40 years, America DOMINATED the music world. America was the standard. Tell me which genre is popping right now from America. You want to know how bad it is, Afrobeats from Nigeria is the genre that is shaking the world right now. Imagine that's only one genre. Back in the days, we had different genres shaking the music world at the same time, including Funk, Jazz, Disco, Hip Hop, House Music, Dancehall reggae, Electro, Pop, Rock, and so many more. Sorry America is not leading anymore because there's no new genre coming out of America So the guy was right to call those 80s music classics
