this shows the potential of SpaceSim I wonder how SpaceSim will evolve in the future is really amazing and astonishing keep up the great job Pavel! in the video itself: is very interesting to see diferent configuration of the initial cloud evolves into larger or smaller galaxies (and also their position).

Would be interresting to see the Kinetic and potential energy evolution and make a comparison with observation. It looked like in the last sim lesser galaxies but higher velocities were reached as I would expect because of the early cloustering and higher densities.

I'm so glad to be alive in a time where this level of simulation is possible

it’s only getting better and as our technology improves, this can be simulated better, faster and more realistically. Thanks to the upcoming quantum computers and many sudden advances in artificial intelligence, we aren’t far from having photorealistic simulations.

Btw, will you ever add a stable cosmology and sph compatibility so that its possible to simulate the effects of the big rip on the earth?

so the higher the noise frequency and lower the density fluctuations, the bigger the "size" of the simulation

The higher the noise frequency, the more noise or sections of the universe is able to show and the lower the density fluctuation, the less parts of it that rapidly increase in mass allowing more galaxies to form so you are correct

Could you please make a video to teach how to use Open SPH ? I dont get all of the knowledge about this simulator and my planetary collision are suck. Low fps, not due to my pc. Just due to the time parameter that i cant find

What would happen when the initial condition was perfectly uniform instead of random?

If I were to guess, if they start with no momentum, it’s probably just look like one big galaxy
