I just wanted to thank you for these videos. I just got my letter mold today. I made green ones tonight. Cuz it’s a Christmas gift and her favorite color is green. But your videos help me get the molds filled perfectly. I can’t wait to demold and see how they came out. I am very excited to try the galaxy and snowflake keychains. I hope I can get mine as pretty. Hugs.

Not sure if it was mentioned earlier, but doing the eye screws go in easier when the resin is just finished at the end of 24 hours if you are doing it by hand, if you don't want to do it that soon and want to wait, there's a dremel tool drill that works wonders, also it can help with you sanding and polishing larger projects in the future. When I can find the darn thing again, I will send you a link. Resin is my relaxation craft and just starting to do polymer clay pieces with the resin. More clay right now, since I am seriously low on my resin, the skull was a bit more than I was expecting in amount of resin, but Bi-polar Harry turned out pretty good. (no I didn't name him, someone else did and the worst part, it fits.)

Hi, a little after filming this video I invested in that mini drill tool.It does work wonders! 🤗 Resin is so fun to me, I guess it's relaxing as well. But for me, anytime I'm creating, I'm in a relaxed state. That HP Skull sounds cool 😎 Thanks so much for watching. 🙏🏽😉

I got a small detail clamp from amazon, it cost like $12 and came with a good hand drill with MULTIPLE bits. That little clamp is a LIFESAVER. It gives you a 3rd hand! Use a small jewelry needle nose plies and DON'T twist just the eye part of the screw so you won't break off the heads. I do love your idea and am planning on using your color scheme! Also really like your metal scoop, it's the perfect bend for getting the resin out!

Hi, again @Creations By Elaina. I love this one! You so clear and measured when you explain the steps you take. It's fantastic! I could take some lessons from you. 🤓Those little star glitters were a fabulous score! I delight is seeing someone find things like that. I've been breaking the stirring sticks in half, also. Not only does it double the supply on-hand, but it also keeps those little cups from tipping over. I was too lazy to cut them once, and I regretted it. 🙃 You have shared fantastic information here . Thank you! I also wanted to note: I'm glad you kept the demolding portion in there too. I have been using iMovie to edit my stuff this week. As simple as the program is, it will let you turn the video. I wonder that, if you are using different software, maybe it has the feature, too. I'm feeling like doing this video thing is more complex that the resin stuff... but I don't know. You've done great! ✅
@creationsbyelaina81834 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for that feedback!💜 Yes! In love with that star glitter! I have to find some more! I'm really hoping to get better at this as soo many others are, so any tips i learn I'm willing to share.. I hope others will do the same when they stop by my channel. 😉 I'm currently using movie maker which is for windows. I don't have apple products. 🤷🏽♀️ Yeah, recording & editing can be tough & can get overwhelming. I figure I can handle 1 video a week. It's working for now. Pace yourself though, you're doing great! We'll get this thing down in no time! Thank you so much for the support!💜

I like those glitter . You could fix the top by recover the top with a think layer of the resin and then drill further away to reattach it.

I have a question, is A and B resin the same as the hardener and resin?
@creationsbyelaina81834 жыл бұрын
Hi, Yes. I use different resins all the time and I put them in these bottles for better handling, So I label my bottles so I know which is the resin and which is the hardener. Thanks so much for watching!

@creationsbyelaina81834 жыл бұрын
Hi, What kind of dent do you mean? Do the letters actually have a dent in on the finished side or are they more like raised up on the backside of them? Thanks for watching!
@kaishahannon38804 жыл бұрын
The done side had a dent like they needed to be domed
@creationsbyelaina81834 жыл бұрын
@@kaishahannon3880 Yes, most times if you don't fill your molds they will have that dip. You can either dome the backs or sand & buff & polish the pieces. It's just the nature of resin. 🤷🏽♀️
