The only issue I've had is the fingerprint sensor just not being responsive enough causing me to have to place my finger multiple times. I wish the fingerprint reader area was a bit larger since I don't have anything physical to know where to place my finger. Having said that, increasing the screen sensitivity did help.

I notice you just have to press harder. It hardly work with just a tap. You have to press and it goes fast or lay your finger there for a sec and its a lil slower. My experience anyway

If you go into Device Care you can also set your phone to automatically optimize the phone daily. I have mine set to do it every morning at 3:00 AM then in that same area set auto restart to run at least once week I have mine set for Sundays at 3:00 AM. Give those a try to keep your performance at it's peak.

Alot of people don't realize every phone needs to be shut down completely for 2 mins at least 1 a week. And if you can, remove the battery for a whole night once a month.

@@thomasgraham8563 well your phone caches a lot of memory from various tasks, and it helps persevere lithium ion batteries when you turn your phone off, it gives it a breath of fresh air. The note and every new Samsung device should have auto optimization and auto restart features just like OP said above. I have mines set to restart every night and optimize aswell. You can also wipe memory cache by searching a tutorial on how to do it.

If your case has a magnet in it and you're using your phone and s pen the magnet interferes with the UI and the s pen becomes unresponsive!! I found that out with My Note 10 +.

No problems with my note 10, my only real gripe is that you can't turn the AOD off when charging. (certainly wireless charging not sure on wired) if you charge your phone in your bedroom it lights the room up. I got round this by setting 2 completely black screen savers but would prefer the option to turn this off.

The notification "bug" isn't a bug. That happens with every new phone. Aleaysbthw first thing I change for any new phone. The Note 9 was no different.

I bought my Note 10+ in Vietnam on the first day it arrived in Vietnam. I've had 3 reoccuring bugs, maybe someone similar experiences? 1) The record button for videos in the native camera app is greyed out as if it's not an option. 2) sometimes the phone reverts to in-call volume when playing media and the only way to fix it is by clearing all apps, rebooting, or playing NPR One (yes i know it's crazy.). 3) Because I purchased in Vietnam, there's a Vietnamese (Lunar) calendar stuck on the AOD and lock screen calendars. No big deal, it's fairly small, but for $1250 (price here) I shouldn't be forced to see it so it's driving me nuts. Pretty sure it's just hardwired into the VN specific market software.

Only problem I had was with the g mail notifications, that was fixed by the battery optimisation setting, apart from that, no problems. I think if there is anyone who doesn't know how to get the app drawer up shouldn't be using a phone like this. First thing I do is disable Facebook,never used it and never had a Facebook account.

Everyone mentions the problems which aren't actually problems. The Spen AirView feature does not scroll down in 90% of apps even the Samsung dedicated apps where its expected to work. This is a huge oversight by Samsung. In apps like whatsapp / instagram you can scroll down using the Spen but in instagram you cannot scroll up. Notification toggles telling you apps that appear over other apps cannot be toggle off. It keeps switching back to the on position no matter if you toggle it off. AOD stays on when the device is on when charging by cable or wirelessly. Really bad flaw because this problem was fixed on the S10 / A series. We don't need a bright light shining all night when charging overnight or are we looking at our device constantly to see its charge status especially if we don't use the AOD or we have it on tap to wake.

I have Stock Apps on my Note 10+ & it was crashing or freezing up & rebooting at least 3 times a day. After the Android 10, 1UI2.0 update it did better but its starting to freeze up again when opening KZbin or going through Instagram. I don't use my Fingerprint Sensor, since no one has access to my phone but me. I have mine set up to "clean itself & reboot" once a day at 4am & that seems to help. Never had these issues with any of my iPhone's & I'm almost 50yrs old. This Note is my 1st Android Device ever. Seems like if I go to fast in certain apps, itll lock up the phone as well.

Very nice video 👌👌👌. Very detailed and precise. I had that issue with the port being wet and you're correct. The phone will not allow you to charge and cause any damage. I had to wait about 4 days before mine actually dried. I got the phone slightly wet and Disney in a storm

issue that I had is when we make a voice call, the other party hear our voice sometimes faded/getting soft (but still can be heard) and then back to normal again and this happen every minutes...however when the voice call made using the given AKG earpice, the other party can hear our voice better and consistent....have tested this with many calls, and all recipient say the same when receiving call from my Note 10+

Got mine for Christmas. Had a note 9 plus. Nothing but problems, the worst 2 being my samsung watch going haywire and the time on my phone is always incorrect. I corrected the time manually and it stayed right for a half hour, than slowed down. Put it back on auto, waiting to see what happens. I have also had several of these issues included in this video.

I don't know if anyone esle has had this problem but can you look into it? I've checked all the settings and including blocked contacts but all to no avail. I didn't have Netflix installed on mine and Facebook can be disabled so it's literally just a "stub" 0 bytes of data used in storage. Considering most people will install Facebook, it makes sense that it's already on there. Not an issue disabling it.

I just checked my device again and Netflix is there but it can be disabled and use 0 bytes, so no problem there either. I do agree that it would be nice is none of these extras were installed out of the box, but disabling them is so easy that it really doesn't matter.

I just got mine and the only issue I have with mine is the charging port. Using my AKG headphones tends to easily disconnect and reconnect while in pocket stopping my music play. TiredoftheBS Oh shoot....I’ve had mine since launch (preordered it), but believe it or not I haven’t used Bluetooth except for the S Pen. I guess I’ll have to connect some speakers to it and see what happens. Or if the S Pen is working fine do you think it’s ok? I know it’s only 2 of you that posted on here, but I hate it when there are issues felt by more than one. Sure it’s possible you bot( got lemons, but what’s the likelihood you both replaced your lemons and got another lemon. Have either of you noticed others experiencing the same thing? If so, maybe there’s a software update that can fix this. I’m going to test mine to see if there’s the same issue. Is it more prevalent with Bluetooth in the car, headphones, or speakers? Had an issue with no sound after charging with the 25 watt charger. Plugged it back into the charger and then removed it from the charger and the sound returned. It acted as if I had earbuds inserted into the USB C port.

If I leave my phone in my pocket for a couple of hours without taking it out and using it, when I do take it out, it will open apps and pocket type on them, and then I can bypass the security to get into my phone, just by swiping the screen. Rebooting did not fix the problem.

I have occasionally had it freeze so I'm interested in "soft reset" holding volume down & power button for 7 seconds. Will try it next time. On the whole I love my Note 10+

Samantha Wilson IMO, that was really the only item that he mentioned that I would label an issue. If this has happened often, I would suggest returning and swapping for a new one. That doesn’t seem right. I don’t have that issue so far and really hope I never get that. In addition, I haven’t had any freezing on a Samsung phone for many many years. Now my iPad froze this week and I was worried that it was done and it’s not old at all and I take care of all my technology with kid gloves. I’m digressing. I would definitely exchange it if it’s happened more than a few times. Just a thought and I hope it stops. Enjoy the phone!

I've had Samsung phones for years & not had this issue. What does drives me nuts is when I set specific notification alerts & it works correctly once and then reverts to the default one. Samantha Wilson I’ve owned the 2,3,4,7,8 and now the 10+. I’m quite surprised your having those issues. If you don’t want to go through the hassle of exchanging it, I had thought of 1 other shot in the dark. If you don’t have a lot of stuff on the phone, what if you did a complete hard reset back to factory setting? Then set up phone again. There’s a possibility that something happened as you were setting things up. You might have even brought something over from a previous phone. If you have a lot you can save that stuff to a SD card or a flash drive, or computer. Hope one of those things work. I do think this is the best phone I’ve ever owned. I have one personal issue. It’s not an error, but a bone to pick with Samsung. I want the original S Note app with Action Memo, Photo Note, Easy Chart, Idea Sketch, Scrapbook, etc. If I never used it then I’d probably think the inferior Samsung Notes was better, but since I have used it, it doesn’t compare! I actually had it completely side load on my Note 8 and it was working flawlessly in its entirety (including everything) and then I got updated to Pie. That was it. It I guess works (Easy Chart not at all, Photo Note sometimes in landscape only (I have no problem), and everything else is glitchy like crazy), but it also absolutely destroys the battery. These were all on my Note 8. I haven’t tried to side load it on the Note 10+. I’m still hoping that they finally bring it back. Or at minimum once this phone updates to Android 10 maybe it will work nicer with that OS. At least they finally made Samsung Notes (S Notes) compatible with Word which I think is great! Good luck! I had same problem. I could charge it by taking the case off and warming it up and it charged. The next day I put it in a vehicle charging while it was about 85 degrees out and it charged fine. It has been charging fine since then. Just thought I would post to see if I could help someone

biggest issue is edge lighting not will work with the "SCREEN OFF" for other apps such as Twitter, IG, or Xbox BUT it will work when the screen is on. Only app works with edge lighting screen being off is the Samsung Message App WTH

Before my max i havent had a iphone since the 4s and everyone before then and they all had issues. I know they haven't had issues like that since but shit happens. The Real Slim Shady This is the best phone I’ve ever owned bar none including all Androids and iPhones. I hope I didn’t just jinx myself. I know it’s only approximately 15 days, but you could buy it and then return if you don’t like it. I know several people that did that and all of the kept the phone. They were all torn between this, the iPhone and the pixel that’s about to come out. One was even thinking of waiting for the S11+, but I think you’ll, like this. Also, when I'm listening to anything, there is a slight vibration why, is this? I've Never had any of these problems with my note 9.

I disabled the FB app, that app even blocking the internet access with a firewall, and disabling background data, somehow keeps showing notifications... is like FB is hacking you. For that reason I disabled it, even it works great. I'm using FB Frost, is more simple, but works great and block on it means block, don't display the notifications.

Try CCSWE app manager from playstore, it is the best option to disable almost any app or service within an app

I have the Note 10 plus international unlocked from Samsung, however I'm getting several glitches that not on my Note 8! Buffering on KZbin, Apps jumping out and back to home screen, Google assistant jumping on frequently interrupting whatever I'm doing, etc... Anyone else having problems with this phone? Seriously thinking of sending it back. And just be satisfied with my Note 8.

I got my phone in March and from the jump I could not get incoming calls. I was getting a message that said the activation process was incomplete on top of that. I would try to place a call out and would get a message saying I could only make emergency calls. I would have to reboot the phone then call out. I bought the phone brand new and took it in to my carrier 4 x and they still could not figure it out. I ended up contacting the carrier and they were supposed to send me a new phone. They did not. I contacted company and they put in a claim to have the seller send me a replacement phone because this one the only phone I have. To send the replacement phone let me switch from the defective phone to the new phone then ship the messed up phone back hoping the new phone would work. Amazon apologized and said they will have the carrier resend the phone out. Well tonight I started looking at the settings in the phone with the help of your videos to try to figure out why the phone was not working. After 2 hrs the phone rings now but I am still having all the other items. I just kept at it to fix the phone. Now I am trying to get the activation to become activated and figure out about the emergency message. I am a mom, business woman and in school and I need my phone for all the things I do in the pubic eye.

Anyone have a problem with a dongle not working. It still charges no problem but the wired earbuds and auxiliary port no longer works. It's not the dongle.

I've had the same problem, used three different dongles and a new aux cord. I got an USB-c to 3.5mm and it works fine but my volume turns down on its own 😫 I can't win with this thing luckily there are volume lock apps

I've watched a video where it was mentioned that only the Samsung dongle will work with Note 10 and plus which sucks. If you have the Samsung dongle and it's not working then I'm not sure what the issue might be.

Thanks for the response and yes it's not a Samsung dongle it's actually Apple. It was actually cheaper too. Go figure. Problem is wife has exact same phone and hers works no problem. Mine worked then all of a sudden stopped working in the middle of a podcast. Guess I'll take my phone in for service and let everyone know what the problem was

No no no no. There's a Much better fix if you are having an issue with touching the edges of screen. Download the Edge Touch app. You can actually set a portion of the screen to not respond to touches. You get two choices on each side-one that will not respond to long presses but will respond to single touches, and you can choose in same area if you want it to respond no touches at all. Both can overlap each other so you can set it how ever you want. One tip-this can cause an issue to when you tilt phone sideways and you try to pull down quick menu, of course that part of the screen you just disabled. So when you set your 2 choices for each side , leave whichever portion of the screen you want to only block taps and not long presses, then you can get your menu down like normal and still retain functionality. Mine is set like this on the bottom right side of phone because I use my right thumb the most. It really is a good app and my phone has worked basically perfect. No accidental edge touches and struggles to get my menus and such. Check it out. Edge Touch in the Samsung Store by the same folks that make Good Lock I believe.

Hi Shane, I bought an 10+note 3 months ago. It is my business phone. Very soon I began to notice that my incoming calls and texts were decreasing in their amount. 3 months later I have no calls or texts and of course a huge loss of business. I have done what I consider to be "everything" to try and fix this .Sending is fine but receiving is 99% down. I have now taken it to the store where I bought it and it is being sent away for a technician to assess it. Because the problem was quite intermittent in the beginning I know that after they do another factory reset and try receiving a few texts and calls they will say that the phone is fine. The phone is so not fine. Any help would be appreciated......also in this video you mentioned not getting email alerts in real time..rather a dumping of them. This was immediate when the phone was set up by a tech and very annoying. There are things I really like about the phone and so wished It did not cause me so much grief. When I say I have done "everything" I mean 2 different telcos. 5 new sims, factory resets, discussing in store and phone with the 2 telcos..Speaking with samsung instore and over the phone...the list goes on......Any help would be greatly appreciated and no offence if you delete this. :-( Donna

For push notifications go into email app and set times it's supposed to check for email. It can check every minute or every couple days

My issue is AoD brightness. Even with "auto brightness" off and the slider all the way up AoD maximum brightness is still too dim.

After watching this video, I went into the Biomerics to and more fingerprints and didn't have an option to do so. Then when I did the fingerprint check on my existing fingerprint it got it wrong the first time. This is my first samsung phone and the security on it is a joke!
