I was interested in the 20 ultra only. But, after using both in store I actually opted for the regular note 20. The feel in hand, weight, and flat display for me just felt like the right move. Really enjoying it so far. Both are great choices.

Yes. It also resists fingerprints well, and looks good in the hand. The plastic back on the Note 20 does not feel like an afterthought. It's well done!

Palm rejection has been good on Samsungs since they started toning down the edges more and more from the S7edge and newer models. Never had any issues. Sometimes I wonder how people hold their phones to get the palms so far into the display🤷‍♂️

My phones are always in cases so whether the back is tough polycarbonate or glass does not make any difference. And I definitely prefer a flat screen after four years of curved Samsung screens.

I went for the Note 20 myself. T-Mobile had a buy one get one deal to add a line and my wife and I just so happened to have been wanting to add her grandma to our plan. The phone came out to $500. So far so very good.

Note 20 exynos version user. Price was not much of an issue. But a flat screen makes up for all the mini-drawbacks such as the, to my eye non-recognizable 120hz (tried both notes), plastic back actually feels way nicer (had a note 9 before) and the zoom camera is very usable too.

I got the Note 20 ultra over 6 mouths ago, I left the phone on top of the truck and as I drove away it fell in the driveway. when I got home I drove over it with my truck. I went inside to find the phone to only find it 2 day later in the driveway. The phone have a almost 7,000 pounds on it. The phone only have cracks on the back and works just fine. By the look I thouth the phone would not work after that. The point is that this phone will last you a long time. (as long as you don't run it over with a truck). I am in love with the new glass they put on the Flagship phone today. (Sorry for my grammar)!!!

Super late but the problem with the plastic back is that it still cost $1k at launch. If it was cheaper with all those compromises, I think fewer people would complain. I’m still contemplating which Note to get from my Note9 and if either are worth it based on their 2021 pricing and deals. The Note 20 LTE comes with a Galaxy Watch Active 2 for much less than the Note 20 Ultra 5G but is it worth getting a dilute flagship over a real one? I still don’t know

@@davidlegkodukh6969 That's an awful excuse, given that literally just last year there was no difference in storage between the note 10 vs note 10+. Now I'm not antagonizing you, I'm against the idea that anyone thinks it's acceptable for Samsung to give a difference in storage after getting exposed that SD was the better chip. That is a petty move. Especially when your last year phone (note 10+) comes with more storage and is more expensive then your current phone (note 20 ultra). Tl;DR for below. Different prices are marketed to different economies. They don't always exchange exactly. The galaxy note 10+ 4G snapdragon costs more than the regular note 20 (1099 vs 999). Even if we compare U.S. to U.K. prices you need to convert. Because the pound is worth more than USD. So if I bought a note 20 ultra exynos version I'd have to pay the conversion (over $1500)+import taxes. So no it's not a $100 because its USD to Pounds. I could go on but I think at this point you get the difference in exchange rates (even note 10 UK vs U.S versions) have a difference. Of course there's the international version "oh buy the international version" it's not a U.S. carrier and plus they are not even sold directly by the phone brand themselves to you, rather it's an intermediary. You're going to go through hoops depending on your carrier for that one. There's no excuse for this, the tactic of demonizing one phone just for it's chipset is ridiculous. And anyone that defends Samsung for this are only reinforcing this nonsense 🤦🏾‍♂️

I have had the regular Note20 for a week now and love it. Played with the ultra in store but really saw no difference. The non expandable storage is a bit annoying but I have a 256Gb version and use mostly cloud storage anyway so I have little issue.

Same, i have regular note 20, the only bad thing is that they did not add 120hz , and the s20, s20 fe has 120hz....for me they could even just add the pen to the s20fe and made the note 20 but nope....👌 They made it to push the ultra version, but when i saw them i got so curious and in love with flat screen + s pen, i feel it more comfortable, even if i don't use the pen as much i could never get rid of it, for things like editing photos and drone videos, smart select and so on, even air action...and since i never used a 120hz screen i see no difference coming from note 9. Plastic back don't care, i always use covers and 256 is more than enough even if my note9 had 512. With a discount of 200€ plus a trade in it went down 529€. Without selling my phone by myself, looking for buyers and get in touch with annoying people that always want to give you less, even if i was only asking the value of trade in.

I just bought a Note 20 jumping from a Note 4. As someone who isn't too tech savvy, the phone is amazing. It's very fast, has great camera and battery lasts long. If you care about specs then of course the Note 20 Ultra is for you but there is the costs, though. But if you're not too fussed then the Note 20 regular is more than enough as the price is decent and it's still fast.

I just don't care , i had a note 9 and want a good upgrade, without smashing my bank account, the note 10/10+ for me were no sense uograding just to the successor, then 20 and 20ultra, i choosen regular for first of all price, 250/200€ less, and flat screen. The only thing that i would like is 120hz but i'm ok with it, i can live without since my note 9 did not have, with 200€discount and 350 of trade in it went down to 529€ with 256gb (italy)

I got my note 20 ultra about a month ago and i upgraded from the iPhone 11 pro max and I had my iPhone for about a year and I didn't like it at all I mean it was ok but I missed the Samsung feel and before my iPhone I had the galaxy s10 plus and I am soo happy I switched I have always wanted a note phone for years ever since the note 5 and I am glad I got it I missed the SD card slot the the iPhone doesn't have and I like the Samsung's layout and the customizations I can do with it I don't plan on getting a new phone for at least another 2 or 3 years

The battery lasts for a whole day and charges really fast, the benchmark score was good and the cameras are just amazing everything is sharp, the 120 hertz refresh rate makes everything so smooth, the only things I didn't like were the 4500 battery (they could've put a lil' bit more of power) and that there's no heart rate sensor anymore, I really liked that feature. Other than that I would totally say the upgrade was worth it.

Good review. I traded in my S20 Ultra for the Note 20 Ultra and it's really good. Especially the focusing and the night mode shots, not to mention the wireless Dex feature. And though many hate it, I just love and prefer the curve display to the flat one. The Note 20 Ultra mystic bronze truly looks like a piece of expensive jewellery.

Also, I'm getting the Ultra, upgrading from a note 8 (bought when it debuted) - I keep phones for years and putting all other specs aside, the storage/SD card capabilities is what sold me! Storage can be an issues years down the road, so having the SD card is vital.

@@luckyladyz awesome I'm glad to hear it, with the trade in deals they have going on the S20 Notes right now I was able to get one cheaper than an S20 Phone. I decided to go for the S20 Note Ultra 512gb because I realized tbat by the time I bought a memory card for the 128gb version I would only save maybe $50 and still not have as much memory or as good of features and there no way I'd get a regular So Note even though they are cheaper, I'd still have to pay for more memory and I don't think they will accept a memory card plus they have so much less stuff and even the back is made of plastic. I've always wanted a Note to try the pen but I'm impatient and never end up waiting for them and I was gonna keep my S10 Plus till I found out how much trade in I could get and how sweeg a deal I could get on a 512gb Note20 Ultra plus with the 120hz refresh rate they have now and 4k and it's not just a feature for the Note20 Ultra but it has the biggest best screen for it, u can hook them up to an Xbox One X controller and get a monthly game pass and play Xbox games on it, I've never played games on my phone I don't like using the touch pad as a controller and the graphics are ok but not great and now I'll be able to play Xbox console games with good grapbics wherever I want on a big good looking screen with an actual controller and I know for a fact game pass has some huge title I really like such as Halo, Gears of War and probably my favorite Xbox game Forza Motorsports! So I'm stoked for that in addition to all the sweet features I wanted and was buying it for before I found out you could play Xbox games on your phones now, that just the cherry on top lol!

I actually ended up only getting $650 trade for my S10 Plus but then I managed to talk them into waiving the taxes which were a little over $100 so it was till a hella good deal! Even still it was a lot of money since I opted for the Note20 Ultra 5G 512gb version, I never would have bought it if I couldn't have gotten so much trade in for my S10 Plus and even with taxes getting waived too so it actually cost me $800 which was still a way sweet deal! It is a wicked sweet phone, I can't believe all it can do and I'm sure I've only scratched the surface so far too, I can't wait get setup to play Xbox games on it!

I have a galaxy A51 and my girlfriend broke her iPhone 11 and she needs a camera to scan boxes for her job. So we went to Verizon and he got a deal and got 2 phones. The note 20 and the note 20 ultra. She also has a note 10 plus at home. Turn your refresh rate to 60hz should get just as bright when at 120hz it takes more out of the phone supposedly.. I have the standard note 20 but thats what I hear is the issue

I used both... The ultra I had to change it twice thinking that it's factory default since it doesn't respond quickly.. specially when you need to copy text it came up that that's how the model works 🥺 which made me transfer to the note 20 instead..

So i got an iPhone 12 and like I liked it dont get me wrong but I ended up back on android with the Zflip and its cool asf but not a productivity phone. It dies so quick. Im about to return it for a note 20 I think 🤔
