I stumbled upon your video while looking for reviews of Note 4 batteries. I don't know if anyone has answered this for you or not, but the reason for the differing width of Chinese batteries is because the Chinese Note 4 has a 3,000 mAh battery instead of the 3,200 mAh like the international version (hence why it's slimmer). This is because the Chinese version has dual-sim so Samsung decreased the size of the battery to create space for another sim-card specifically for the Chinese market. When buying batteries / battery kits from Chinese vendors you must make sure it's for the international models and not the local version.

I really need to invest in a Note 4 extended battery. Im noticing that my battery life goes down while charging. And takes a very long time to reach the next percentage. Just starting happening a week ago. Its annoying that my phone dies so quickly now. It never use to do this. I hope by getting this that it works. Ha ha funny you ask.... Just got it from my local hardware store... They're flexible ties.. I got like 6 for $10 and each is like 12 inches... You can get ones with a thicker foam around it or longer lenghts.. Inside the foam is like a bendable aluminum or something and is wrapped with foam... Lol so you can bend it any way you like or make it as big as you want... You bend it in the middle then make 2 curves then separate it a little... All don't slap your phone on it...

Ahh i see. The note 9 looks exciting! I feel the Note 4 was when the note series was the most relevant. With next one being a downgrade in features, the note 7 being a recall and the note 8 having a smaller battery than the S8+. All losing the Note 4's cool battery options with that cool portable battery case/charger. But the Note 9 does have the nice bluetooth pen. I still think the Note 7 and Note 8 are good phones tho don't get me wrong. The only issue i'm curious of is Note 4's history of weird hardware failures in time. Maybe if you experienced that. Like failed mmc causing poor reboots.

Max Wood The purpose was to show people other battery options other than the stock battery the phone came with... It's almost common sence that if you have a battery twice the size in capacity as the stock.... Then you should get at least almost twice the usage from your phone... Not always true I realize this but would make sence... If you would have searched my other battery videos I've done you'll see the ZeroLemon 10,000mAh battery I've reviewed... I think I've also done some other Slim battery videos for the Note 4... But like I said, this Note 4 is now like 3 phones ago for me... I've already lost touch on this phone as I'm running the Note 8 currently....

Erwin Delarmente Okay, then I got the point of the purpose, because I knew it long before that there are double power thicker battery alternatives on most major cellphones, so I need to know if it worths the size, otherwise people would choose normal size battery. Another consideration for me is that there are so many batteries in the market with various prices from $3 to $15 and all of them claim themselves as "Original" Samsung battery and they all look the same, that make me confused to decide wich one to buy, because the true official battery at Samsung Service Center is way too expensive.. Hello... 2 ways of doing it... Some ppl pop it in and drain the battery till it dies then they charge for 12hrs.... Some ppl go straight to the 12hr charge... Up to you & also depends on how much charge it has.. I'd prefer discharging it till it dies then charge it.... But that's easy do cause I have a separate charger for spare batteries as I pop a slim battery in while charging the new dead battery...

Erwin Delarmente Hi, thanks for the quick reply. I drained it and already charging for 10-12 h. Another thing i wanted to let you know, the battery that i received was a 8200mah extended battery, EXACTLY as yours but with 8200mah, AND they must fixed the width issue, now the battery fits exactly on the phone. One last thing to mention the battery drained very fast, is was at 57%, a turned off the power saving on my note 4, i played an .mkv movie from the usb for about 30-40 min, a run a few benchmarks and in 2-3 hours it reached 10%. If you want i can let you know how the battery performs as i am a standard user, no overclock, power saving always on. Thanks.

The battery i mentioned before is by far the worst battery i have ever bought from ebay. after 4 full charge-discharge it lasts almost as the original battery of 3220mah. i requested a refund and they gladly did it. stay away from this battery, its a waste of money.

If it's not extended the Chinese ones usually exaggerate the mah. if it's the same size as your stock battery it's not extended you can't cram any more juice then what size the battery is.

Smh at people buying Chinese electronics. That battery will last 3 charges before it starts dying out on you. Electronics are one of the few things I buy name brand.
