Update! Almost a year later this battery still performs! I'm now on 2 and a half days without a single charge, the last 7 hours I'm on 1%! It's getting a little annoying that i still have juice ;) This battery is the best one ever!!

You have to cycle the battery 5 times to calibrate it for an accurate fuel gauge. Also, don't remove the battery, or your calibration will be gone. Make sure you drain all the way, then recharge with the phone off until you get a green light.

This battery is amazing! I charged it for 12 hours and then start using it oct 30th at 1pm. Today is november 1 and the battery is on 1% and it doesnt shut down,i tried everything, watching movies, playing pokemon go,listening to spotify but i can't kill it :) Thats a full 2.5 days! Its my first cycle, pretty awesome!

Well it did the first two to three times! If u shut the phone down it will take that time for sure if u leave it on and charge it it will take about 8 to 10 hours without fast charge! With fast charge about 6 to 8 hours :)

BATTERY CHANGE-OUT: I refuse to purchase a smart phone that does not allow for changing out of batteries. I still own my Galaxy Note 4 because of the ability to change out batteries in less than 60 seconds. It is foolish for the manufacturers to have eliminated this feature, especially when they drain so quickly.

I really need to invest in a Note 4 extended battery. Im noticing that my battery life goes down while charging. And takes a very long time to reach the next percentage. Just starting happening a week ago. Its annoying that my phone dies so quickly now. It never use to do this. I hope by getting this that it works. It sucks how we pay all this money for these phones and the battery just goes out after a few months. They should make every phone with a extended battery built in automatically.

When i receive it should i charge it for 12 hrs or until the green light on my note 4 comes on? After the 3 or 5 baterry cycles do i need to charge it until the light turns green or until it reaches 100%??

I have used modified ROMS on my Note 4 in the past but its been so long I cannot remember the screen on time I was getting for the Note 4, the battery pretty much doubles the battery life that your getting so expect double the screen on time for the most part.

gothychild33 Plug it in use it for a bit, when you have time do a full charge (this will take about 10-12 hours from 1%) Then do a full discharge and recharge it. No need to do multiple discharges of even recharge it to full when you first get it. It's a heck of a battery, it will take a lot to drain it down to 1%.. so if you find you are down to like 10% you can always charge it back up, new batteries don;t have a "memory" like older batteries. Enjoy!

Great Review Thanks! ...I just received mines yesterday. .and did my first discharge of the battery. ..i had charged it up all the way with the fast charger to 100% and went to sleep ..and this morning I was down to about 50% is this normal..?...I am doing my 2nd discharge again and hoping less drainage. ..also would you recommend using the fast charger or a regular charger to get the proper calibration. ..any response will be much appreciated. ..

Hi I was wondering if you could help me. I bought this battery at Amazon and it works well. But when it goes to 1percent I remove the battery and put it back on and it shows about 20 percent every time. Charge time is pretty fast about 4 to 6 hours I'm guessing. Can you tell me how to fix this issue about removing the battery and then put it back on which gives me more. Not sure what to do or what is wrong

+Jedi Master this is an issue with the Android operating system itself. How long have you owned the battery? Have you done many cycles on it as in ran it down and then recharged it to full?

Just got it about 3 days....charged twice....once drained the battery but then took out the battery by accident which i then saw about 20 percent more now...puzzled then. Let it drain those extra 20 percent THEN charged it for the first time. While at work it was at 60 and disconnected the battery and went up about 85...which was wow. I finished charging now and took about 2 hrs to 100 percent. I just disconnected thencharger cable and hasgone down 3 percents just from typing this message.

Since it is a large battery, I found it takes time for the Android system to "learn" the battery so to speak, I'd give it a week or two.

Don't remove the battery, or you'll lose the calibration. Make sure you drain till auto shutoff, and charge the phone while it's off until you get a green light. Calibration takes about 4 to 5 cycles, on a non-calibrated battery or pulled battery.

This battery case like most batteries will last an average of 500-750 cycle charges meaning you should expect it to retain most of the battery capacity if you were to say charge it every night for about 2+ years.
