GALAXY NOTE 4 SIM CARD NOT DETECTED ERROR - TWO MINUTE FIX

I couldn't belive but this fixed the issue. I have a a Note 4 SM-N910F (European Snapdragon version). I Trier everything including flashing different versions od the modem, bending down the slot.. this simple piece of tape fixed everything. I'm now running CrDroid on android 8.1 (custom rom) and everything is fine.

Yo! Mark just want to say maximum respect for putting your video up. It has sorted my problem in 2 minutes I'm in the UK on 3 net work haven't used my Note 4,4 some time but always have it handy as a back up a couple of hrs ago I needed to use the phone but was getting error....who would think a couple of pieces of electrician tape could fix the problem thanks for taking all the hard work,research out of this problem EZ my Brother thanks 100%

DUDE!!!! I literally don't understand the concept of how this could work but OMG!! You just breathed life back into my phone with this little trick! I'd tried everything under the sun. I woke up like 4 mornings ago and my Note 4 would still read my SD Card, but wouldn't read my SIM for NOTHING! After about giving up I was going through my junk drawer looking for something and stumbled upon some electrical tape. I instantly thought of this video I watched a couple nights ago. I did exactly what you did in this video, put the battery in and the back piece back on, crossed my fingers and voila! I had signal again and everything is back to normal I thank you a million times!!!! What is the concept about the electrical tape? What made that work??? Kudos bro!!! 👊👊👊🖒🖒🖒👌👌

I believe there is some type of cross interference with the contacts and the sim tray. The tape only provides a barrier to prevent them from cross talking I believe. I’m so glad it work for you and thank you for the message

This is just a tip that may work for you possibly there are other issues with your device. I wouldn’t give up hope though I would try it a few times by powering the phone off and on, etc..Thanks for your input.

you can try it, i used electrical tape because its non-conductive due to the possibility of the presence of electricity on the contacts

Hi, my Samsung Note 4 which is only 6 years old has this called "pin contacts" damaged which prevents the sim from getting ,y network connection. How can I solve this issue? Do you have any idea how much to have pins repaired? Thank you!

Personally I would sell the item as is for parts on EBay and buy another Note 4. The time, risk and expense to repair it wouldn’t be worth it for me
