using a toothbrush to do your splatters would've been easier. The only issue with that is you don't have control over where it lands unless you put something down or you don't want to go. And also how big the splatters are some will be bigger than others. But just an idea for you

Splatters are just that....splatters. If you want nice round stars it's better to take control over that with tools. Sure takes longer but you have more control.

I just found you today, and am quite thrilled, because you ARE a painter. I paint tradtionaly, and have recently been made aware of this form of media. Very interesting. I have always loved the cosmos, esp. Painting the heavenly bodies, nebullas, galaxies, etc. I would suggest you review photos from the current space telescopes that are in orbit. I have found the best photos on the You Tube channel, Reasons to believe. This project you have created here is beautiful. But I want you tore the star nursery pics, and all the gaseous clouds, that ARE white, and streaky, as well as misty, and foggy looking. Again, beautiful. 🤗

Ma’am… you are amazing. This the most beautiful project. I was searching for a video just to show me how to resin a coaster… but when I saw all those beautiful colors I had to watch. 1:11 minutes… no way am I going to watch anything for that long…🤔 And I didn’t… I watched 54 minutes because I had to leave for a doctors appointment. Excitedly, I finished watching this morning. You are a great teacher. I love the care, the passion and time that you invest in this piece. OMG. I’ve been using resin on tumblers and wall plates. I had no idea all this was possible. I’m hooked 👍🏽 and yes, I’ll buy you a coffee🙏🏾

Wow!! You are an incredibly talented and amazing artist, Christy!!! Ironically, in reading some of the other viewers comments, I too was drawn to watching you create this beautiful resin masterpiece. So much so, that when I was eating dinner while watching you create, I literally stopped eating because I was so enthralled at what you were doing!!! Your sense of color conception is brilliant! And the best thing that I heard you say at the very end of your tutorial was "Don't forget to live your best colorful life." And how colors bring you pleasure and joy. I can't agree with you more!!! When I speak of my craft and art projects, I say essentially the same thing! Colors excite me whether it's of my own creations or someone else's. Again, I applaud your creative ability especially with resin. Oh btw, my name is also Cristy, but as you can see... without the 'h'.

I liked the fact you could see light through the back, and think you could one with RGB led strip around the perimeter in back facing lights to center. Then when you turn it to slow color fade (where one color fades into the next it would look great. I have a colorful oil diffuser/steamer that does this and it brings a new dimension to the whole colorful pallet with each change of color fade from the LED's.

Oh my goodness, this is absolute stunning! Such intracate details. There is so much time and effort that went into this, and cost definatly - that was a lot of layers! It looks just like a galaxy lol. I would have loved to of seen more dark blues and purples, just personal preference though. Your chosen colours looked amazing, almost a bit too much for me, but they all, even the neons lol, floated and fitted so well together - very natural looking. I have never seen such a detailed tutorial. I am speechless from its beauty and complexity. I am completly new to this - I have only tried a little with alchohol inks till now and somehow, its not turning out how it should do so. I think using the acrylics with the resin is very very nice - I am just learning that you can use the micas etc together in it as well. What is the interference exactly? Thats a lot of learning you have given me today. I will definatly have to watch it again - there is so much in it. I have a lot to think about before trying it out. Your mould is huge - but it has to be. Can't have a tiny galaxy, the size makes it so outstanding. I was so drawn into it right from the beginning, I couldn't take my eyes off of it. Top class for sure! Thank you so much for letting us in on how to accomplisch such a beautiful work of art! 💕
