If GS4 Active is not truly waterproof, does it need to dry in a zip lock with rice? My Note 2 went to a dirty swimming in a flood for 10 minutes and shut itself. I dried it for 2 days and its working fine.

i have this phone. i made sure the casing and ports were all fully sealed. i also made sure to press the case in below the camera to ensure full sealing. I had it dipped in water about 10 cm deep for about 10 seconds. Afterwards the whole inside was wet, the battery was fully wet, all the parts inside the apparently sealed area got wet. day after the bottom corner of the screen shows white lines. the setting buttons wont work and the back button is very irratic. any others with problems?

i am not talking of a 3rd party case. i am talking of using wireless charging receivers inside the s4 active like you can with the s4 as it has the same wireless charging and nfc pins near the battery. see my uploads where i use those accessories in my s4, so was raising this query that even if it can be used in the s4 active it might make the waterproofing defective as one has to press the gasket above the battery. the extra accessories will make the battery compartment a bit thicker.

It's waterproofed headphone port. It specifically says that it is on the device(literally). Meaning it doesn't matter if water gets inside that hole

Since this has the wireless charging and NFC external antenna pins in the back, this should be able to accommodate 3rd party wireless charging and NFC accessory. But due to the way one needs to press the gasket for water proofing to work, I suspect the additional thickness of the accessories inside the back cover might lift the gasket and make the water proofing useless. Should have been a screw fit instead of pressing on gasket.

My Nokia C6-01 has flashlight when you hold lock key. When I got Lumia 720 I wondered why it does not have similar function, its really useful, every phone should definitely have it. Making different flashlight apps is so 2009.
