PittForceFive is apparently too busy to manage my expectations - even though I paid $700 and he's had my saber for over a year now.

You know, I recently purchased myself. What has to be, the crown jewel of my lightsaber collection. Anakin Skywalker's "Skinny Flex". Got it from Korbanth, it's so beautiful. And I still haven't turned it on, because honestly it looks best sitting on my display stand. Great video by the way!

Great conversion video. I had this saber smuggled out as it's my favorite saber (well maybe tied with Vader's). I love it for what it is, but the neopixel is excellent.

I always loved Luke's ROTJ lightsaber, because I love the design and the green blade really makes me love the color green. Not to mention I had Luke's electronic lightsaber when I was a kid back in 1997. It's my favorite lightsaber in all of Star Wars.

It's so weird looking at the newer light sabers because I have a light saber from back in 2011 when they first did the "Build Your Own Lightsaber" station in Disneyland and it makes me sooo envious seeing the newer ones beause mine costed $21.95 at the time and is no where near this quality and it's funny because I begged my mom to build me one when she chaperoned for high schoolers for her school! Now I'm just flabbergasted.

I love how the neck is longer and a little thinner but not too thin it’s a perfect mix for dueling while still looking more accurate then the default thick neck attachment Disney gives you

Exactly! That’s the trade-off between the real thin neck sabers with the tiny cups. Everybody is afraid to hit them on anything. 😆

Love the channel guys! I only have Force FX and master replicas lightsabers but I would like to buy a Galaxy Edge lightsaber. What blade size would you recommend for a Galaxy Edge lightsaber? I like the size of a force effects blade and was hoping to get one that's around that size

Hey RYAN, thank you so much for the compliment we really appreciate that. My favorite blade size for the galaxies edge sabers is 36, but I use the smaller 26 blade for my Darth Maul staff, and the 31 is a good average size. So I use all of them but 36 is my favorite. Thank you so much for watching

I pre-ordered the Limited Run Games Star Wars Survivor Special Edition Game with Cal Kestis New Hilt in the game. I learned the Hilt is from Galaxy Edge and this will be my first Light Saber I would own. I’ve been doing research on KZbin and learned about Neopixel Sabers which are better built and quality. After seeing this video, I’m thinking of possibly doing a conversion to a Neopixel saber once I receive the pre-order game and Hilt in March. Since now this company isn’t no longer in business, are there any other trustworthy company that can do the same as in this video? Concert a Galaxy Edge saber to Neopixel quality Saber. I think the reason why they deleted that scene in the cave is probably because how we see Luke in the final theatrical version is him wearing all black & he uses what looks like the force choke on the guards, we're suppose to ask if he learned dark side elements between Empire & Jedi. With the cave scene we don't get that feeling of him possibly turning to the dark side, we are suppose to ask that throughout the movie until he says he'll never turn.

That's a great idea hipster, I think you're right. I personally thought maybe they did not want Luke to come off as a character who is plotting for an attack in a cave. Might make him look too devious.

Does it need a screw/hex-head for the blade or does it twist like the Savi blades?

That's a great question Tom. That uses a completely different neopixel blade so it uses a hex screw. I also think I mentioned in the video that he managed to fit three neopixel strips, which makes a... "Trio-pixel"! :-D

Hey Mang, yeah, even before the conversion the metal one from Galaxy surge is $150 without the blade. But we have reviewed a lot of the less expensive sabers that only cost $30. Great for kids with imaginations.

Hey Jonathon. "Garbage" might be kind of a harsh word. I think they unfortunately use cheaper electronics to keep the price down. I think for being a theme park souvenir it's pretty neat. But this conversion clearly kicks the Disney parks sabers butt! 😉

@@FindingTheForce He accidentally broke my Luke Saber from GE making the modifications I requested. I paid him $600 for the conversion and the saber was around $120. Extremely disappointing. It’s like he just passed away or something.
