Really good video I have the s22 plus in green and it is a great phone one of the best I have had. And I know most reviews talk all day and night about the s22 ultra but sorry that is just to big of a phone.

I recently purchased the S22 (not the plus). Coming from an S10+, I'm happy with my purchase. Although the battery life and screen size are smaller, I can still get through the day on a full charge. I absolutely agree about the brightness and that was so disappointing. I wanted to look something up real quick before going to bed (after I had turned off all my lights). I remember thinking to myself, "that's it?!" when I reached minimum brightness on the device. The maximum brightness is great because I use my phone for GPS when driving and I've never been concerned with glare from the sun. I also agree about the camera bump. That thing is super sharp and in the way. I miss when cameras sat flush against the phone like my S10+. I'm a case person for style and practicality reasons. I hate seeing a scratched up and fingerprint phone. So if my case gets messed up, I can always buy a new one. That fingerprint scanner is a dream come true. I use my phone a lot. It's my everyday device for KZbin, calendars, note taking, online shopping, and of course call/texting. Being able to just tap the screen with superior accuracy is great. The refresh rate is great too (I just have to remember to close apps). Seriously, if your phone is running slow, ask yourself how many internet tabs and apps you have open. But, like I said, as someone who is a heavy user, going between apps is a breeze. I haven't been able to use the camera much but I cook a lot, and my food photos look really good quality. Overall, I'm not disappointed and I can't wait for Samsung's next release because it's supposedly going to be amazing compared to the S22 series which were just minor improvements from the S21 series.

Awesome video man. 😁 I'm getting a SOT of 6 hours on my S22 plus with medium usage. AOD is set to "Tap to wake" and I have a few Bixby routines. Go for the s22 plus for the decent battery life.

@@coppervsglass The camera app is not snappy always. You cannot click 4 pics continuously except for using burst mode. In some shopping application, the frame rate drastically drops and lags when scrolling. Hope samsung fixes it with future software updates. Great content man!! Keep up the good work!😁 Peace ✌️

Got the S22 regular one, snapdragon edition. So far a great phone, love the performance and the camera. Battery life is pretty bad though, but 1 con vs many pros I can handle I suppose, but does suck if you not home or have your car with you and you also forgot your powerbank lol.

@@codesecond3695 Sorry for late reply, yes it did improve. Currently I can fairly easily get a full day out of it without any worries, but wont be the same for everyone of course. Overall battery life still not amazing but it does improve after you use the phone for awhile, and there were some software updates as well that possibly tweaked couple things.

Marvellous upload, bud. My only reservation about this device is the limited 256gb storage. A 512gb option would have been beautiful. Hopefully that may happen on the S23+.

Nice one Michael. Great video as usual. S22 does seem to be good. One pain I always felt while using a Samsung (S8) was about screen not waking up on a notification. Hope S22 has resolved this with latest OneUI. This a very useful feature for me, as I rely on this for looking up 2FA codes while working on Citrix, read messages when you are busy to unlock or even lift the phone etc. I hate to use a third party app to do this. I have since moved on to an iPhone. But hope to go back to Android for my next. I like switching after every few years :-) Otherwise S22 design looks great. Flat screen (finally) and great specs.

Yes s22+ has better battery life compare to regular s22. On gsmarena the s22+ score about 97hrs while the s22 only 85hrs

Realistically 9ppi difference makes no difference. The tech behind the S22 screen like brightness, colours and smoothness is what really matters. To most people the sharpness of 393ppi and 402ppi looks the same

I have been using s22 plus ( SD 8th gen 1) since march month.. Battery drains very quickly even put in power saving mode. Screen on time is 4 to 5hrs only.. Is Samsung will resolve this issue with updates? Or please suggest me to longer battery life

A matte metal chassis would be the worst decision Samsung can possibly make outside of putting plastic on the back. It would instantly make the S22 series look like a mid-tier or budget device. Big time "NO" from me on that terrible idea. Funny thing is as you're saying that, most of the fingerprints we see are on that matte back.

LG V60 still better than the s22+. Has better screen ,better camera, way better battery,best audio quad dac head phone, dual display and pen , SD card , updates till Android 13 $300 new . S22+ $1100

Sorry have to disagree on that one. The S22+ has a much better and brighter display and at 120hrz. The camera is also way better in my opinion. Ultra wide, wide and telephoto for the win. Battery is fine for me and lasts all day without issue. I use Bluetooth earbuds so no need for "high quality DAC" and this will be getting upgrades up to android 15 or even 16. Plus it's under £1000. Not to mention the processor and other aspects.
