I have an S22 ultra and yeah at first the battery does drain faster than normal. The phone takes a couple weeks to learn your usage patterns. There are alot of tweaks you can do as well, to get better battery life. :)

The full frame for the sensor is 3:4 not 9:16. You'll get higher quality at 3:4. Take an image at both 9:16 and 3:4. The 3:4 will have higher quality. This also goes for most professional cameras like the Sony a6000 series and ar series. This is particularly the reason why 108mp works only in 3:4.

​@@tomyanouss3458 (talking about regular non-zoomed photos) It uses both 108MPx and 12MPx camera sensors for photos whether you use "108MPx 3:4" mode or not. It combines data from both sensors into one image. Difference is that "108MPx 4:3" mode doesn't downscale the image resolution - so it should have a bit superior quality, but takes more disk space and cpu processing time after each photo. For a majority of people the regular downscaled photo (around 4MB disk space) is enough :)

and thats just standard. There are far better launchers (basically a computer desktop or the interface of the phone) such as nova launcher that offer a ton more options, then there are debloated/degoogled secure roms that use free and open source software to protect your privacy like migroG (linux based).... followed by icon custiomizing, different widgets, things like tasker and ifttt, gesture controls, voice controls, apps let that you put passwords or pins to open individual apps..... This video is literally just scratching the surface. Apple is very very rigid by comparison. You made a great choice switching over.

Jimmy I been watching your videos since I got the s9+. I upgraded 4 years later and got the s22 Ultra. My first smartphone was a Samsung Fascinate( 1st Galaxy). 4 years later ,I got the Galaxy S5. 4 years later S9+. 4 years later S22 Ultra. Never had any issues with them, most reliable and durable flagship phones. Samsung never says die!😂

I'm about to make the same switch as you! My s9+'s fingerprint scanner has been broken for a while, and I'm thinking I'm going to miss the iris scanner on the s22 ultra, but no other phone seemed as good for me.

Love all your tips. One correction, on the selfie picture mode. When you turn on Dave selfies as preview, it actually does not flip them. So keep that OFF to be able r to read on the picture.

I'm always using Nova Launcher since day one. So much nicer to scroll,Swype One Hand instead the 3 buttons at the bottom. And to customise your homescreen,icons,and kwgt widgets. 14:00 It says "Save as previewed" and we know that the selfie camera preview is like a mirror. So it's the opposite, you shouldn't turn this on if you don't want a flipped end result. And this is not an assumption, I just tried it myself, even though it was obvious.

Man did i love my decision to upgrade from my 12 pro max to this s22 ultra! (Phantom white). You will not regret the switch when you swap phones they have a setting to allow you to use the current iphong charger and connect the two devices and transfer everythig. Make the switch

I'd say the most useful tip in this video is the animation scale. This available on every android; not really necessary when you have the power. Entry level phones benefit from this the best.

Great video! Just wondering about the "save selfies as previewed". Isn't that supposed to be turned off if you don't want the picture to be flipped? On my S22 Ultra (and my last galaxy) it gets flipped like in a mirror if you turn that one on.

Thing 1: Setup Phone Thing 2: Install Nova Launcher Prime or Instead.... Debloat then degoogle and then Install Nova Launcher Prime Through the Aurora Store and then go through and set everything up as per normal. Also: 11:05 Samsung Find My Phone ---- This is already a thing enabled by default is you use a google login you can go to googles find my phone. Both features are the same but samsungs is a copy of googles. 21:38 nova launcher lets you do this but change the search engine. Important if privacy or bing rewards or just having a different preference is important to you. You can even set it to have a slight pop-out effect with one letter icons for sending the search through another search engine other than your preferred default
