Just wanted to let you know that my carrier is finally kicking my Galaxy Note 10+ Aura Glow off of the network, it's finally too old, obsolete, drats! Also, my husband died from his cancer at the end of April this year. He is out of pain and in a much better place now. The carrier told me shortly after that, about kicking my Aura Glow Note 10+ off the network... and that really did not go over so well. I really b'd at the carrier up until last week Monday when they finally gave me a deal that was decent enough to not turn down. The new model launch is happening soon, eh 😉😆 I have had a Samsung Note phone since the Note 2 and the Aura Glow Note 10+ was my very,very favorite. I too just got my S24 Ultra. Wasn't planning to, until my S22 Ultra's screen broken by accident and the repairs were almost $500. Instead I chose to pay $750 and traded in my S22 Ultra for S24 Ultra

Modes and routines...I love'em...i have so many routines, mostly for muting my s24 ultra when inside or using buds or bluetooth in my car... but also use them to further advance my battery protection...I set up my routines so that I have battery protect to max when in my cars, at work or home, but at night I got it set up so my phone charges to 95% and then max battery protect kicks in and stops charging...if it's a work day it usually drops to 93% but if it's my day off it slows creeps towards 80%...The pros say you should keep your phone between 35% and 95% for better battery life (never charge to 100% and never drop it bellow 20% ) or between 50% and 70% to maximise battery life...I chose 35-95 seems like a good compromise and also turned off fast wireless charging (it's much cooler on 7.5w charging) 👍

I dont go past 80% unless I really need the power. It really dosent matter how you charge anymore with the official chargers and such. I love these new phones.

Great video, I'm stuck on the camera assistant as I don't have the option on my S24 ultra. You mentioned this can be added by downloading good lock but the only good lock I see in the app seems to support locking apps. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Someone could write a book on the amount of customisation. Modern phones aren't for the faint hearted. 😊 The camera is a book on its own. One of these S24 videos convinced me to switch my video filming standard from FHD to UHD because it is a good compromise. Yesterday I found out how to zoom in and out video recording using the volume button. Now I want to know if i can take high-res photos while filming. 😂😂😂

Lmao supreme I just had a 13 pro max and switched to the s24 ultra slow and the only thing that's better is the camera the battery on my 3 year old pro max outperforms this brand new phone I wanted to try to it cause everyone brags about samsungs being superior and they aren't phone is laggy even when you put phone on power saving it sets it at 60hz refresh rate and it makes Instagram lag and everything else face Id is trash and fingerprint scanner don't work well either this is the worst phone I've ever had in my life tried talking to samsung and they won't even take it back phone is trash as soon as thr new I phone comes out I'm selling this piece of junk. Phone doesn't auto correct like a I phone either I have to go in and fix everything

One other thing to note about the camera app, is that from what I have heard, when you tap on More and you drag down the functions into your main settings for easier use, for some reason you can't drag down the Expert Raw function, because from what I've hard, it's its own app from within the camera app (if that makes sense).

I just made a big update from the S21 ultra to the S24 Ultra (it was time lol). This video helped a lot. The import feature from my old phone had most of these done, but there were a few things here and there that were new, so ... great video.

What a treasure trove of tips! I instantly subscribed to the channel. I don't agree with all recommendations, but many of them were revelations for me. Many thanks! (The thing I disagreed most with was the side button section. To give users just 2 options to choose from is ludicrous from Samsung. I've been using the sideActions app to customize the side button on Samsung devices for years. The trouble is, it's officially unsupported on Android 14, but after a huge struggle, I managed to get it working on S24 Ultra, too. Well, except that after each phone restart, you need to force-quit and re-enable it, weird as it sounds. But that's still better than next to no customization of the side button. Of course, the sideActions app itself must be side-loaded, because Google Play Store claims it's incompatible with S24 Ultra...)

I got the S24U yesterday. It's an amazing phone. I did get a screen protector, and it completely got rid of the anti-glare feature of the phone, which absolutely sucks. But I hate having a scratched screen.

I changed my settings to where I'm using the Adaptive battery feature, however, there will be times when I have gone back in, and see that it is no longer on adaptive battery. I'd I turn my phone off, does that disable adaptive battery?
