After Samsung releases a new version of a phone (note 8, note10+, note 20, s20 plus, s22u) the following year (note 9, s21u, s23u) are always the more refined and polished off version of the year before. I try and stay away from the even number years as those devices are typically the first year of a redesign with new hardware but always comes with bugs and or hardware issues. This has been my experience since first purchasing the s3. Just keep this in mind when deciding to upgrade.

The metal tip (that you push to eject the s-pen) varies in color, but the pen itself is black for each of the phone colors. The cream phone has silver/chrome edges, and the end of the s-pen is silver/chrome.

I was going to skip the upgrade this year based off leaks, but now after reviews im considering trading my S22 Ultra. The better speakers, the better green, the thicker side rails to grip & flatter screen, the better selfie camera, and of course the better main camera. So there's really a lot to love here. Its the improved speakers that really have got me to the edge of upgrading.

i wouldn't upgrade from last years phone. not much of an upgrade....I always upgrade after at least 3 years. Hence I will be upgrading my s20 note ultra for this beast.

samsung s23 ultra has been confirmed to have better or same battery life as iphone 14 pro max the samsung with 1440x 3340 against apple 1270x2770 samsung had 11 and 21 minutes battery life applem had 11 hours and 36 minutes while the samsung had a higher resolution so if u do battery saver on the samsung it has better battery life than iphone even do ios is way less power needed

Just got back from pre-ordering this phone at AT&T. My Note 9 screen was glitching and was going to get it replaced for $150. AT&T has an awesome Samsung trade-in deal going. I could trade in any S,S-plus, or Ultra phone whether it turned on or had a broken screen for the S23 or S23-Plus for "FREE". Just taxes of $70 plus activation fee when it comes in. I opted for the Ultra23 which will cost me $5.50 a month. $85 for taxes and $35 activation fee. So, massive upgrade for less money. I can live with that. 😎

Have had my z fold 3 since launch and have ordered the s23 ultra now. I'm still unsure if I'll miss the fold in terms of the screen.

You will. The fold is better than the ultra. I also use iPhone 13 pro max and the z fold is far more advanced than the slab phones. Think about it. You have the biggest and best screen.

@@amiram88 np. Also the closed form factor is whats amazing. The footprint is small in dimensions so it's easy to one hand and fits in pocket better. The ultra with a case is a huge. Wide and tall. Hard to properly one hand it

I'm pretty sure that if you have either a USB-C brick or a USB-A to USB-C converter, you can use the cable in the box to charge the phone. Is this Dual-SIM? Somebody told me that you can use one of the SIM slots as a slot for a Micro SD card.

Cable can be used to charge the phone and you can also use a computer for the power source. A micro SD card will not fit in the SIM tray and the phone cannot read or write to any type of SD card. Whoever told you that has more BS than a cow.

Still have my s10+ because I own a real camera, am sick of paying Verizon $80 a month for phone I never get calls on, just social messages. The upgrades are getting so minimal that unless you just don't have a phone, it's a huge waste of money to upgrade every year. Samsung ruined it for me the day they removed the extended memory slot to follow Crapple in the charging more for a few more gbs.
