I have to disagree. the consumers have the right to demand better hardware like better charging, bigger battery, 16gb of ram, memc chip, 1 inch sensor for the main etc. if all people get it ai, then basically consumers are paying for a software update that will eventually land on the s24 ultra, so what's the point of this?

Let alone the disappearances of the BT in the S pen use it all the time gestures and yelling cheese in alot of cases won't work. Gestures are okay for close distance good lighting try with low light doing a night shot not going to work. Yelling cheese from 20+ feet away also won't work.

@@treynolds94 I actually said this before, yelling at 20 feet or even using your palm at 10 feet someone might walk by while your taking a Pic, the spen is the perfect companion when it comes to taking pictures because you control the timing of the shot. this Ai BS used to be called SOFTWARE UPDATE and I won't get the new s25 ultra because we'll get some of the features eventually.

Samsung credit is like $130 or $150. But it might be $300 if they deduct for the storage upgrade. Which means that $150 doesn't count because sometimes they just give the free storage upgrade if you Pre-Order. But the $130 credit gave me the Buds pro 3 for $41 so still a great deal. It has the best chipset ever seen on a phone, and the memory is upgraded to be MUCH MORE efficient and quicker. HARDWARE!!! They switched to a three nanometer process architecture, which means it's much faster, but doesn't heat up as much, and is ten times more efficient. HARDWARE!!! What that means, is the same size battery in the S24, will last longer in the S25 because of the 3nm architecture. So there was no need to upgrade the battery, with a MUCH better more efficient SOC. It has a new larger screen, with a NEW digitizer and NEW fingerprint sensor, which are both much more accurate and quicker. HARDWARE!!!! It has a new upgraded GPU, for graphics, which is much better than the last model. HARDWARE!!! It has a 40% bigger and more efficient vapor chamber to cool it under heavy loads. It has upgraded the wide angle lens from a 12mp non-8K, to a 50MP 8K lens. HARDWARE!!!! It's got new upgraded speakers, which sound a ton better. HARDWARE!!! Not to mention being able to video in LOG, which the S24 will NEVER be able to do. HARDWARE! SO, it's not just a bunch of hardware, and maybe you should actually research something before trashing it based on a bunch of comments from simpletons and halfwits.

I'm really hoping that the heat management is as improved as the reviewers are saying. I tried the S24 Ultra last year and it had major heat buildup issues. I even had Samsung try to troubleshoot it and they ended up replacing it. When the second one turned out to be almost as bad I just became frustrated with it so I sent it back.

Ai is software. It is not a feature you can literally have an app that does the same thing. The s25 is an uglier iphone 4 design made from titanium again RIP overheating with no upgrades. Every year the SoC gets faster who cares? Next year itll be faster too. The larger vapor chamber is because this chipset is. A HEAT MONSTER. SD888 all over again. They removed bluetooth from s pen and delivered no hardware features worth even mentioning. This entire phone is a 5minute update.

In those last years, S2x Ultra sales have increased, S2x and S2x Plus have decreased and A3x and A5x have increased. Samsung users know that midrange do the job and Samsung strategy, to put main features on S2x Ultra, works. There are absolutely no logical and business reasons for Samsung to improve drastically S25 and S25 plus. Geeks complain about Samsung but at the end, regular users love their Galaxy A3x and Galaxy 5x.

Plastic that crack in heat housing the electrical system. Played with the S25 Ultra in store. Dosnt feel cheap, but looks like it. The weight reduction wont be as resistant as the S24 Ultra in drops ect. Thinner an lighter isn't always good. Unless it has superior materials. Which adds to cost. I dont fall for Coporate talk. I pre-ordered my s25 Ultra. The trade in deals are unbeatable etc. Better battery life seems to be promising here. The bluetooth S pen stuff is disappointing but I rarely ever used them. The shutter button is nice for sure but there are other workarounds. I'm a tech nut and want the latest & greatest. Cheers.

If you're complaining about this upgrade not being enough, it means you've bought an Ultra within the last 3 years or you've purchased something different and gotten over Samsung's incremental hardware upgrades and focus on AI. That's fine. The S25 lineup is selling like hotcakes already. So there's a majority customer base wanting it than there's not. Its an incredible device that not everyone really needs right now.

Yeah in the US trade in Prices in the US are great but not in the UK all i get is apx $650 I'm keeping my S24 ULTRA and not upgrading to the S25 ultra as its not got Bluetooth S-Pen functionality NO 16gb RAM NO 65W super fast charging NO real camera upgrades except for the wide angle camera sorry but samsung had better wake up and very quickly and implement ALL these things otherwise i'll be looking elsewhere for my next mobile phone company like oppo or honour

There's nothing extraordinary about the S25, plus the design is uglier than previous models and looks like an old phone. Night video is not good; the iPhone 16 is definitely better. Great video and really good explanation. Keep it up!

Ultra? Samsung Galaxy S25 Meh more like. If you are going to call something 'Ultra' then that should stand out from the competition. It should have a two day battery, if it has a built in Pen it should be like a wand not stripped of functionality that no other phone stylus in the world can do. Keeping Bluetooth would be the minimum expectation - taking it away is cost cutting and a bad mistake. If you want the new chip consider the Oneplus 13 - you'll get that with the elite processor, 16gb RAM and 512Gb storage for $300 less that the s25U base model. The "Ultra" this year doesn't stand out against the competition and that's disappointing.

I dont like to rely on ai to do things for me, id rather do them myself otherwise you'll forget how to do certain things. writing an email for me is ok etc. I'd rather talk to the waiter/waitress in a restaurant, everybody speaks some English. If you have an older phone, yes upgrade. I don't see too many people that have the S24 Ultra switching. I'm still learning everything this S24 Ultra can do & it's a great phone. I love the "Square Look" My phone looks like it did the day I took it out of the box. Still all day battery, unless I use those magnet chargers which makes the phone very 🔥. I don't use AI also. The S24 Ultra will be able to do everything the S25 can when the update comes out anyway. Mostly everything..😂

All this AI hype is a laugh , most of it is very gimmicky , and apparently for the galaxy at the end of 2025 it’s AI becomes subscription based anyway😂, and the removal of the Bluetooth S pen feature is a real kick in the nuts. I don’t care for a few grams lighter weight or stupidly thin bezels that will likely produce a phone that be damaged easier in the event of a fall on to a hard surface. In fact I’d rather have a thicker phone with a slightly bigger battery even if it was a tad heavier. And the supposition that buying a phone with mostly only a software update is acceptable is just not on in my book , particularly when they are taking features of value away ! S25 ultra … no sale.

If this was an iPhone, I bet Mark would’ve said no to upgrading. Samsung did a spec bump added more AI features compared to the S24 and suggests to upgrade. 🤔 Not sure why Samsung users would be competing with Apple. They have their own battle with the Google Pixel. If the Pixel has the Snapdragon chip, it’s game over for the Samsung Galaxy lineup.

The price doesn't matter for me since I upgrade my iPhone every year and pay just the sales tax and activation. I did have a close eye on the 25 Ultra. However, it's not much of a difference for me to make the switch. The removal of Bluetooth in the pen sounds like a big drawback for current Galaxy users. One thing for sure is, you can't go wrong with either one.

It’s crazy how much demand people want from Samsung phones, while the number one selling phone in the world is the iPhone 15 base model with a 60hz display ,5 years old display,with average battery life and does not support apple intelligence, cost $800😮, and has two cameras. For those who are saying that they have a right to demand everything and the kitchen form Samsung will easily settle for an iPhone 15 base model.The Samsung 25 Ultra is a mature smartphone and I love the fact that they are paying more attention to the user experience and the small tweaks that people were complaining about which matters more in my humble opinion (this is why the iPhone is on top of the food chain). For me a former Samsung user S21 Ultra I am looking forward to receiving my S25 Ultra as everything that I complained about Samsung fix. Good by IPhone 16 Pro Max.
