Thank for the tutorial I have learned a lot by watching you create tumblers. You make it look so easy. I am new to tumbler crafting.

This is gorgeous! Do you only do two colors on the galaxy? Other than black that is. I’m only curious because I love the purple(my favorite color) and pink, but I also love when teal is the mix too. Those three are my favorite color combo. Would that be too much, you think?

Question: once you put on the alcohol ink and glitter, you don't add any more epoxy? the tumbler is done? and how long do you let it dry after that. by the way love your tutorials
@twylahcampbell22775 жыл бұрын
The alcohol pearls actually have mica powder in them, that’s the reason for the mixing balls. You have to shake them vigorously and hard for a couple minutes to make sure the mica is thoroughly mixed into the alcohol ink solution for it to come out of the bottle correctly and also to work properly. Beautiful cup BTW. I’m new to your channel and I enjoy your teaching methods. Great job

Truly an artist! Question: so after applying the paint, but before the glitter, could you have sprayed it with the 91% to get that star/explosion look like you did in the other galaxy video? I'm asking because in the 2 videos you used 2 different methods. Would spraying give you the same effect no matter the method?

Hey!!! I hope you see this. The paint you show is semi gloss.... does that work the same as matte? Or was that not the same exact can of paint you used? I used flat once... and did not stick at all to my tumbler.

Question: Can nail polish be used on these tumblers?
@kelistone12514 жыл бұрын
Do you have a video where you use black when it is just a little black so that it doesn’t take over? I love this cup and see where you needed heavy black. I need help using black ink! Lol

Love your tutorials! I’m also heavy handed with inks and dyes. On this type of cup, can mistakes/overuse be fixed by using white alcohol ink or mixatives?

QUESTION: Do you sand your tumblers at any point in the process of any of your tumbler making? I’ve seen others do it, but I haven’t heard you mention it. Wondering if it’s just a personal preference? Thanks.
@MissKissKreations5 жыл бұрын
Crafty Cat Lady Hey there and thank you for watching! I don’t sand too much. The only time I sand is when using chunky, and even then, I do very little sanding. I do have a 320 block, 220 block and 180 block. Remember when sanding glitter, or over your decals, you can sand your work right off if not careful enough. If something is uneven, epoxy again, then sand.
@hislambcreations5 жыл бұрын
Ms. Kiss Kreations Okay thanks so much for responding!! I was wondering about sanding the tumbler before even starting, like the bare steel? Do people sand them to get the paint to stick? I guess I don’t understand that part. 🤷♀️ And I have the same heat gun! I picked mine up at Menard’s. I was hoping I got one that would be okay!! 😂
