I've got the watch 6 (since december) and its still holding up really well, wish battery was a bit better, usually getting about a day with regular use, but charging is pretty quick and it still has no scratches at all! good buy imo

I had watch 6 LTE for 12k, sold it immediately and got watch 7 Wifi version for 19k. 7k was worth it. Increase in battery, extra band, Much better responsiveness, super fast and more features and future proof and latest offering.

I don't think it's stupid, LTE can save you an important call when you forget your phone, hence you need to know the network capabilities. If work profile functions normally, in case you are out for an adventure and an important meeting needs you.

LTE is nothing more than having cellular connectivity. Your watch will be able to make/recieve calls and have internet access if it is running on LTE. There's not a whole lot of capability to discuss here.

@@mobiscrub Can't agree fully cause: 1. Performance: network quality, is it satisfactory, is there any connectivity issue, how's network speed, is there heating issues? How's Watch 7 battery comparison to previous generation when in LTE standalone mode, is the new 3nm chip giving any benefit? 2. Software: Supported apps, I remember when WhatsApp, GMaps nothing used to work on LTE without phone connect, other 3rd party app support, example: Truecaller, does it work seamlessly on LTE standalone mode? Does music streaming, NFC, UPI works? 3. Ecosystem: If your phone is not connected, and your watch's battery dies after a workout or some activities, will it sync back to the phone when powered back on, can you control smarthings from LTE standalone mode, will Samsung Pay work? The above I know, I'm not a reviewer, if you dig deep, I'm sure you'll find more topics to discuss.

Great content. A couple of things, 1, why does everyone talk about the price of the ultra? Go through your carrier, I pay 27.00 dollars a month for my ultra. 2. How come no one except flossy Carter talked about talking GPS on the watch. I dont know if the 7 has it, but the ultra does. Not even the apple ultra 2 does this.

because, the carrier pricing is a very US centric thing. Most people in most parts of the world pay the full price to procure their devices. Barring some places in europe, australia, etc. the carrier thing is not very common.

Also there is no difference between 6 and 7. Upgraded to 6 from 4. There as well only difference was performance due to better processor but battery life is one and half day only. Better to skip 7 for now. Or 6 is good to go anyway

It's never enough. But that's true for most watches with as many functions as you see here. Consider the Apple watch too, not the ultra, the usual series 9. It's the same. OnePlus watch 2 and 2R have 3 days but again they don't have the detection capabilities as this watch. So it's a trade off.

LTE just means you've got internet and calls coming straight to your watch and you don't have to rely on Bluetooth connection with the phone. And yes you can use your primary number as eSIM on both.

The battery life won't be very good for the first few days as your watch adjusts to how you use it, after a few days it should start lasting longer
