i bought this phone on 9th of this month.. i'm loving the speed!! much faster than micromax a 75!!!! and yeah battery power is sufficient if u use it judiciously.. i.e. dont get much into gaming.. for internet, fb, and apps purposes.. the phone is great.. all in all, i'm a happy customer.. :)

I have bought this phone on 13.3.2013 and was surprised to find its quality. Google Map and KZbin is surprisingly fast. No IDM is needed to watch KZbin as the videos are streamed real time ! Google Search also is fast. Camera and video quality is acceptable. There are some negative features also as its standby battery time is limited to a day or two. They have added a door to the charger connection place but users will find it a hindrance rather than a help.

yes the browser supports html and adobe flash.. nope.. u cant set default sim.. see when u drop down the notification page.. u will get an option of sim1/sim2.. u have to opt for the apt sim to make the call or sms.. i feel this is one drawback and samsung should work on this.. waise both sims are active simultaneously.. u wont miss any call or sms.. for internet u have to set only one sim.. from the settings option.. only that sim would be used for net.. u can change the option anytime..

By the way, the two sensors on the front are not proximity and ambient light. One is indeed a proximity sensor, but the other one seems to be the magnetic sensor. Unfortunately, this phone, which I bought here (Spain) 14 days ago, has no light sensor, whichj I miss from my former phone.

Good phone in terms of 3G connectivity and wi-fi reception is excellent. quite fast in downloading files and watching streaming videos. Good video clarity and suports HD video. supports flash player and so you can watch video on any site. inbuilt youtube, google maps widget. great keypad options, but handwriting option needs lots of improvement. look-wise sleek and light. touch response is ok.

What lacks is the front camera, low memory and push mail feature. Battery back up is average. Can't expect for more battery back up on an android device. Display switches off while on call and you need to swipe many times to bring back the display and cut the call. it slows down after installing 8-10 apps.

hey i would like know which phone i should buy among galaxy y and the new galaxy y duos on comparing i found that galaxy y duos has got 384 mb of ram and galaxy y with 256mb of ram also found that galaxy y duos has 1300 mhz battery and which is little bit more than that of the galaxy y ........actually i need only a single sim phone........if galaxy y duos would give me a better performance and a more battery life on using single sim i would buy that .....suggest me the better one ........pls...

I just bought this phone today and i am already frustrated with it. It worked for about 20minutes (that is before i started looking for apps etc) and then it started claiming that there is no network connection.
