I think HD is completely adequate for this screen size. I used the HD option on my S10+ because I really didn't see the difference with the higher resolutions, atleast not enough to be worth the extra battery drain.

Exynos this year actually should be ok, Samsung appears to have improved their 4nm process somewhat and they're using a better packaging tech. Snapdragon will still be better but exynos 2400 shouldn't be a heater mess like 2200@@ncokicsi

Same. The S20 series had them too. I had the S20 in Cloud Pink and it had a pearly holographic back, it was beautiful to look at. Cloud Blue was another option. Just made the phone so much more interesting to look at and all you needed was a clear case as the phone itself just looked great! The colours from the S21 series onwards have been so boring for me.

Of all the three choices, this is the one I'll go with once I decide if I'm going to finally trade in my S21 Ultra. I seldom, if ever, use the S-Pen anyway. The S24 Plus is actually closer to the Ultra variant than the vanilla one for a change, but for $300 less.

I didn't like the 1080p on the specs sheet before I ordered my 23+ but in person you would never tell it is. The battery will last longer, too. The only thing I'm jealous of is the software updates.

Not a lot of people want the big phone factor on the S24 Ultra. I think Samsung should put all the camera hardwares on the Ultra to the Plus with the Pen being the only differentiating factor. BTW the colour might be a bit different because the Ultra is titanium based and titanium doesn't play nice with colour. This is the first time in a long time that Samsung has done justice to its Plus model. I was planning on getting the S22 Plus only, in the Black finish, but when I got to the Samsung Store, I quickly noticed just how ill-fitted the Plus model was in the S-Series Lineup. The larger display and bigger battery was good, but the disappointing Resolution, no extra RAM, priced very close to the Ultra, I got the Burgundy S22 Ultra only. Really happy with my purchase tho. I for one absolutely love Curved Displays and am really disappointed that both Google and Samsung have dropped it. Love the curved display on the Pixel 7 Pro as well.

The colors are slightly different between the S24 Regular and S24+ from the Ultra, because the regular and + models are made with enhanced aluminum material, while the Ultra is made with titanium. I'm sure it took work to try to color match, but they probably wanted the distinct look to distinguish the higher grade material for the Ultra.

I VASTLY prefer the design on the regular and plus over the ultra. Never liked the boxy rectangular shape of the ultras/notes. The plus has the important bits of what I want and I think the colorways look better too

The unique boxy cosmetic design and build quality of the Ultra (with or without the curved display) is very classy and high end, my issue with the Ultra line is that they are too big and uncomfortable to hold. The sharp corners dig into your hands. For that reason alone the S24+ is better.

I returned my S9 for S24+. The battery life on S24+ is great. I don't have to bring a battery pack with me. I don't like there's no auxiliary port to connect the S24+ with other devices. I used to connect my old phone to my car to listen to media on my phone but can't with S24+. Also preferred unlocking my screen using the sensor to scan fingerprint. Now I have to do more work to access the screen. I enjoyed my S9 more than the S24+.

I love my s24+ the AI features are crazy good. I love using the translate feature with circle-to-search. The other translation features are crazyyyy. Translating a convo during a phone call let's me talk to my bfs parents a lot easier. All the AI features in this phone make it sooo worth it to upgrade.

The one thing that still gets me ab Androids and Samsung is that Snapchat just looks so bad. It’s always been really bleh on Androids, which I know is cuz Apple has partnerships w the big social media groups. The Google phone is the only android that looks as crisp on Snapchat as iPhone. Note 10 + (which i also still own) is more comfortable than s24+ because the s24+ doesnt have curved edges both from and back. I don't know why Samsung does that edgy cornering at the back of the phone. Old phone design like s4 was much more comfortable.

It's interesting to see practically all these KZbinrs being "excited" for the S24 lineup, while me as a simple consumer with a S23 totally see no reason to upgrade, and most improvements seem marginal. Maybe the Gen 3 SOC is the biggest improvement from my perspective, but the S23 feels insanely fast already. The biggest selling point for me would be if they finally put a decent front camera on their phones that doesn't have insanely bad distortions when you're trying to capture more than your face - I swear that 4-5 years ago front cameras had way less distortion.

I have pre-ordered the S24+ the moment Samsung announced their launching dates here in South East Asia. Honestly, these + models are often overlooked and I personally do not really care for the S pen at all which makes this model, compared to the standard, with its not overly large screen, perfect for me.

The S24+ is definitely the winner. It's basically an ultra without just the S pen and upgraded camera. In Canada it is a $400 difference. I'll keep my $400 and take the S24+ tyvm. Bonus that our S24+ also gets the Snap Dragon processor!! Upgrading from an S9+.

I'm a plus guy. I'm stoked for this pre-ordered phone to arrive. I almost considered the base S24, but coming from an S20+ I refused to go back to 8gb of RAM. I also have a feeling 12gb will be essential to all the new Ai processing. I liked the ultra, but I definitely don't care about the pen or the enhanced zoom camera

They finally changed the persona of the plus model. It used to be the base unit just in a bigger shell. Now it more akin to the ultra just no pen. Better screen resolution, bigger battery, and ram
