Galaxy Z Fold 3 & 4: Forgot Password, PIN, Pattern? Watch This!

If you forgot your password, PIN code or pattern code on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 smartphone (same for Galaxy Z Fold 4) and you are trying to turn off the phone to factory reset but to turn off the phone is asking for password too. Remember with a factory reset you will lose all your videos, photos, personal documents, etc. Once factory reset is done you will be in the initial setup as if you just took the phone out of the box. Let me know how many tries it took you.

You saved me time and money. I own a Z Fold3, and after the battery drained, my Bluetooth started acting up. Two days ago, it completely stopped working, including Android Auto (even when connected via cable since Bluetooth wasn't functioning). I was informed that the Bluetooth component needed to be replaced, and this could only be done at a Samsung repair center. Before taking it to the repair shop, I changed my PIN, but then I forgot it. However, after following your steps, unexpectedly my Bluetooth is fixed, and Android Auto works perfectly (even in cable mode). Thank you so much!

Thank you, it worked for me, had to do it 2x's, plus had my phone charging. U saved me. I have to send it back to Asurion after getting a replacement device, because both my touch screens no longer worked. And your required to delete/factory reset or they'll charge you like $300.

Hello. My son has a Samsung Flip Z4 which he handed in to get repairs done. The repairer asked him to remove his passwords from the device and then enter a new pin associated with the maintenance function. Unfortunately it seems my son has forgotten this new pin and the phone is stuck in maintenance mode. Is there anyway of getting around this pin?

Yes can be reset but they won’t be able to compete setup if the owner had gmail sync to app. But still can sell for parts.
