I upgraded from my Fold3 to the Fold6 after 3 years and swapped my watch for the Ultra. It's the same experience, maybe very slightly more refined and a little bit wider on the front screen. The fold3 was my favorite device and I was always using it amongst all my other devices/tablets/laptops. Once ya go to foldables it's hard to go back to a standard candy bar phone.

The z fold 6 is NOT dust resitant. It's resistant to objects larger than 1mm. A dust particle measures 0.001 mm. It's such a pointless rating because any phone is resistant to objects larger than 1 mm. The Fold 5 was more than likely resistant to such objects, too, but Samsung didn't bother giving it an official rating because it's so obvious it would have it. They likely gave the 6 that rating just for it to sound as if it's more resistant than the previous model, even though they're both the same.

The biggest downside of these foldables is that they're meant to be used as tablets half the time. Yet, they have batteries smaller than the normal single screen phones in their respective lineups. The standard battery size for $2000 foldables as efficient as the Z Fold 6 should be 5500-6000mAh.

After the iPhone 13 Pro Max, I like the form factor of the z Fold6. It feels slimmer in my pocket, while I still have a big form factor, should I need it. I like the spen, other manufactory do not have something similar. Also the multi-tasking is awesome!

I agree with you. The purchase made me happy, and all of negativity out there bounces right off me. For me, the Z Fold 6 is a gaming emulation masterpiece, and the absolute best way to emulate my Nintendo DS rom backups. The dual screen is practically perfect for it.

I use my zfold 6 for retro gaming and steam link gaming and let me tell you it's awesome to have a large screen when you need it and a phone when you need it. Wish samsung made a slot for their pen and better camera for the price tag but it still a very amazing phone. It's lighter then previous model so yeah trade in my zf3 for the 6. Dex really great too and you can use it wireless on your Samsung TV.

The Fold 6 is a "fairly" decent update, but, in my opinion, Samsung should have released 2 Folds: This Fold 6 (even if 3mm more in width wouldn't hurt it, it would be the same width as an iPhone X, neither too wide nor too narrow, and no one will be able to complain about it 🤷🏽‍♂️), a battery 🔋 of 4700-5000mAh, but cheaper, like $1500-$1600. And a Fold Ultra in the same format as the S24 Ultra (if possible with 1.5-2cm more in height, to have an internal screen more rectangular than square) and with the same cameras as the S24 Ultra, if not at least better photo sensors with a good zoom and especially 5500mAh of battery 🔋, at $2000 at most. Ps: both should have had a maximum thickness of 10mm. 🙏🏽

I couldn't agree more; the current battery size and that charging speed are just a bummer, smh. The camera's good, but for its most expensive phone, I wish Samsung mirrored the S24U cameras, or as you mentioned, have the normal Fold with current camera, and the Ultra with the S24U. Great insights!

just sold my oneplus open, and now that i am actually using the z fold 6 it somehow fits my hands better. Sure oneplus open has a widerscreen but, when i realised that the cover screen is supposed to be a "convenience" on the move. The oneplus open made less sense for me since i still need both my hands just for the cover screen while z fold 6 i can use one handed all day. And tbh im not much of a social media individual either so the camera downgrade is not much of a problem for me. The same goes for battery life, i mean on my oneplus open i always had 70% left and lowest 60%, i dont have time to sit with my face glued to my phone in everyday life :D.

Fold 3 lasted I year and inner screen mees up got a replacement and 1 year later and it happen again samsung or my insurance didn't wanna cover it 😢even tho I had seen protector on both during my use of it so I'm done with foldables they aren't meant to be use in a normal world,I seen a test were it survived 100k folds so I figure it was a gd phone but naw..only gd thing is u get two screens so I been using the outside one to do everything 🤷🏻‍♂️waiting On a ONEPLUS12

Miss represented the product when he first said, "All new...". I love my Samsung products, but this is a demonstration of what it means to be a blind fan boy. The Fold 6 is a great phone, but it's the same as the Fold 4 and Fold 5 and just an incremental update to what Samsung has had on the table for a very looooong time. Nothing earth shattering.

@IvanKam11 An update to the silicon is not much of an update, and the AI features are software based. The SOC upgrade is only good on paper. After the Fold 5 gets that software update, it will only further blur the line between it and the Fold 6. All I'm saying is that in those areas that truly make a difference to the user experience, it's still the same device. I have had every Fold from the 3 to the now 6, and the differences are marginal at best. I told you I love my Samsung devices, but even I would have to be honest and say there isn't enough innovation going on to warrant enthusiastic praise for the Fold 6. You did use the words "All new," right? Is it really? "All" new? Or are there too many similarities between the 6 and its most recent predecessors? I think we can agree. Yes, it's pretty much the same thing. Samsung can do better.

Unapologetically still not enough for me to get it. Definitely not the king. Still using Zfold 4. Would still be using zfold 3 if not for a free upgrade via insurance claim. With current phones I would get one plus open over z fold 6. Patiently waiting for oneplus open 2. If Samsung comes out with an Ultra version I may stick with Samsung. Also dust resistance what dust is 1 mm or larger get tired of flame advertisement of dust resistance with a tolerance of 1mm or larger it's not even dirt or sand resistance. If fan boys actually truly want a unusable front phone, that's fine buy it. I want a Fold with a usable front screen I pretty much rarely ever use the front screen cause it is not wide enough. I went to the store to do a hands on with the z fold 6 and sorry to say very not impressed. Samsung the new apple pushing same design very little change adding gimmicks that wear out quick and calling it revolutionary and innovative. I highly recommend fold user wait for third generation of your current modle for cost efficiency. Still get decent trade in value trading in to a new modle that is only 1 or 2 generations ahead is a waste of money.
