I upgraded to the Fold 6 from the Fold 4. While factory resetting my Fold 4 to trade it in, the factory screen protector on the inner screen delaminated. 😅 Thankfully it still qualified for trade in. I am glad I skipped the Fold 5 and waited for the Fold 6.

That was an incredible comprehensive comparison from old to new. I myself have a Fold 4. I have just encountered for the second time, the screen protector lifting from the center of the phone. Outside of that, the phone has worked as it should. Well, I decided to trade in and get an ultra. To my surprise, I immediately was missing the capabilities of a fold phone. I contacted Samsung, and they allowed me to return the phone. I am now waiting for the 6 fold to arrive. One of the immediate disappointments was trying to unlock my phone with a screen protector. The sensor on the screen did not work nowhere near as well as the sensor on the side of the fold. I was also disappointed with there being one speaker facing your face versus both speakers exiting the side of the phone. Now, unless you're the poft marshmallow man. There should be no issue with allowing the side speakers to use your cupped hands as a form of redirecting sound, which ultimately helps with amplification of the sound waves. I also found it strange that the ultra 24 screen brightness just didn't seem to be as bright. Now, this, of course, is because if you're a user of a Fold device, you most often will use your device in an open position. The overall experience of searching through the internet and the format of which will be presented to you is far better than the format of any regular phone for that matter. Well, I hope my 2 cents help someone make a better decision. Well, there's one positive thing I did take away from experiencing the S24 Ultra, and that was how incredibly light the phone felt. The last time I had a phone in that form factor and size was a G NOTE, and when you had the G Note in your pocket, you were reminded it was there every step of the way.😂 We'll take care.I look forward to watching more of your content.

This is the type of review that should've been presented by ALL the youtube tech reviewers. You can highlight cons WITHOUT being completely biased or sounding like you're reading from the rhetoric. The Z line has been overly critiqued, even leading up to the leaks, but we are glossing by those same issues that came with the other phones that were released after the Fold (I'm looking at you iPhone 16 and Google Pixel 9). I upgraded from my Galaxy S22 Ultra. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE my Z Fold 6 so far. I jus got it last month. Only thing I miss is the better, AMAZING camera on my 22 Ultra. I miss the HIGH detail & also the 100x zoom! (I zoomed in on & captured the fckn MOON before! Crazy distance! 😂)

Coming from the Fold 3 this is a huge upgrade for me! I loved my 3, don't get me wrong, but there were a few things that bugged me all the time about it, that the fold 6 has addressed. I do wish they hadn't taken Live messages away. But , the Ai software more then makes up for it. Whether your an Ai fan or class it as gimmicky, I believe its here to stay and personally Love it! I use it on my PC for advertising and now I'm having too much fun with it on my fold 6. I found Noticeable differences in the Sound Quality and Brightness from the 3 to 6. @fatherdrip3220 My Fold 3 actually held up well. I still have it. Decided to keep it, for a back up. I did get a pretty good deal on my 6 when I got it through my carrier. The Fold 3 was a solid phone for its time. Like I said, alot of the things that were good, but not the best, are soo much better in the 6. Everyones going crazy about the Fold 6 SE, but I personally don't get all the hype. 1, its not available here in the US. 2, no S pen support & 3 imo thinner isnt always better. I like that this is thicker. Makes it feel & seem more durable.

Accidentally killed the Fold3 screen so I bought Fold6 few weeks ago. Can confirm everything said about Fold3 in this video. I enjoyed Fold3 a lot and didn't want to upgrade this year, but man, Fold6 does deliver huuge value comparing to the 3yo phone, especially about outer screen size, lightness, battery and the upgraded hinge design. Camera is faster, but I didn't notice any big quality upgrade as I liked the Fold3 colors reproduction a lot. The whole device seems much smoother and doesn't get as hot as the old one (can anything be hotter than SD888?).

I've been using the fold 3 as a main device since launch and i gotta admit, i didn't expect it to last this long.. Oftentimes in a rush i kinda slam it shut, it has been dropped twice from waist height without a case and 4-5 times with a bulky case and its still in like-new physical condition.. I came from an iphone and those things break very easily in comparison to a samsung fold.

I just upgraded to the fold 6 from an s21 ultra. While i do miss the amazing camera, i watch more shows and play more games than i take pictures. So the fold for the larger screen was a no-brainer to me. And i really love the split keyboard when the fold is open. Ive only had my fold for 2 days now and i absolutely love it. Im slowly getting the home screen on the inside the way i want. Eventually ill get the front screen layout done too. And the internet speed on the fold 6 is so much better than it was on my 21 ultra, especially where i work the building is concrete brick so i always had connection issues. I have noticed that i dont have any connection issues on my fold 6 at work.

Awesome video, great comparison. Using the S-Pen for taking lengthy notes on the Fold 5 is really annoying due to the crease. Yes, you can apply more pressure, or else strokes are missed. In landscape mode, you can do that, but the problem is you can't use multi-window, one for note-taking and the other for reading from textbooks or PDFs. Hopefully, this crease issue is fixed in the Fold 7. For this, apps like Noteshelf 3, Metamoji Notes, Inkredible, etc., are useful with auto-scrolling zoom in the writing window. The cover screen is not good for those with big fingers. Typing on the cover screen is hard, although you can do swiping on Gboard or gesture keyboards like Minuum are useful. Hopefully, Samsung will make a bigger cover screen, somewhat similar to the Huawei Fold in the Fold 7. And the biggest problem is the S-Pen doesn't work on the cover screen. I used to take quick memos on my Note 3, Note 5, Note 9, etc., but now I miss this feature. You have to unfold it every time you need to take a memo. And taking the S-Pen out of the case is annoying. Overall, it's a great device. I hope there won't be any green line issues or screen flickering issues in the future. I had these issues on my Note 9 and Tab S4.

This video really makes my opinion on phone cameras make sense. I just don't care about camera performance because it really doesn't matter. Very few people will ever look at the photos or videos so closely and it doesn't make a difference, turning the camera into an artificial selling point. However, the rest of the video was informative and made my faith in my purchase much higher.

The reason sooo many people, including me, have problems with the hinge with the fold 4 is because it has some brushes on the hinge and the adeshive is quite weak, soo over time they break and get suck in the hinge.

I was hoping to upgrade to the Fold 6 this year. I've got a Fold 4 and was eager to see the exact design we got, but with an integrated s pen. I feel it's not different enough for me to spend that much money, so I'm seriously considering the Magic V3. At least it's bigger (main and inner screen), thinner, lighter, bigger battery and you can use the pen on both screens!

I upgraded from the Fold 3 to the 6. Got $1000 for the trade and $410 off for black Friday. Everything about the phone is great but I think the camera is a little lacking. It's better then the fold 3 in most scenarios but I agree about the inner screen camera being a downgrade. I just hope my fold 3 is accepted as it has a few micro cracks in the crease of the screen. LCD is great and not damaged but it's a common issue with these folds. Will wait for Samsung to get it. Otherwise the phone was looking brand new still. Great video 😊

My Fold 4 was replaced twice. On both occasions the device stopped fully opening after a long-haul flight from Delhi to London! But the 3rd device i received was spot on and nothing happened after long-haul flights. Also don't bother with those spine protectors, they make the opening and closing stiffer for a day or so if you're lucky until it starts to come off. £10 down the drain.
