I love it so far - it's a bit like a TARDIS, just accepts anything I put in it without filling up.

I just received my black zip portfolio. One thing I don’t remember being commented on, is the actual sensation of the zip. It is the most stable closure I’ve had my hands on. So stable. Like the zip on the sleeping bag I had as a kid. I’m using the keyring as a keyring, and intend to attach 3 ribbons to the loop it was on, to use as bookmarks in my Hobonichi, when my Leuchtturm1917 is full and it’s time to move into 2023. And I’m considering (undecided-it really is just more money) putting an Airtag inside in case I ever forget it. (I’m generally really careful with my stuff, so this may prove not to be necessary, but the value of the thing will FAR outstrip the material cost, so possibly worth it.)

How has the leather aged?

Mine has aged beautifully. I love mine and use it everyday. I bought the all natural leather, and have been very happy with it.

Hi Garry. That looks a brilliant product from Galen Leather. I like how they age the leather to make it look well used. I am tempted to buy a pen case from Galen Leather as I really like the quality of their cases.

I'm really enjoying it, it feels so much nicer than the old case I had from AliExpress. Seemed like a lot of money when buying it, but I think long term will be good value.

Have to admit i really like that folio case.Love that green colour and I’m surprised by the fact you managed to close it so easily with seven pens and the a5 notebook, really thought you would struggle to be honest.

It's really nice. the green, my favourite colour, is really nice. The only issue I've found is that it's heavy when fully loaded.

Hi Gary, Timing for this video was great. I spent about an hour last night on the web looking for a folio and most of that time looking at the exact folio you got. I look forward to your follow up review after you have used it for a while.

It's really nice to use. The only real issue I have found so far is it is heavy when I have it fully loaded, but most of that could be in the notebook that is in it.

Did you have to pay a hefty customs charge for UK delivery? I've just ordered mine and now read a bunch of reviews that say you get massively charged on customs on top of the price I've already paid 😫

So far I have been lucky and not had to pay customs. I think that as long as under $1000 AUD then there are no customs to pay.

Can one write on both side of paper with notebook installed?

If you remove the pens it is not too bad. I tend to remove the pad from the folio when writing.
