My teen daughter taught me (then 45)the choreography . I hadn't danced since high school, and it was so liberating to let loose on such power choreography. As a mom sometimes we forget that we are women. Thank you, it was definitely a turning point for me. Also my husband sure loved it 😉

Stevie’s first time was it. Nobody can put lightning back into a bottle. Even Stevie’s dance this time isn’t as good because of how wonderfully raw the first one is. The raw and beautiful is the uniqueness of it, add Galen’s choreo, and WOW!! Choreograph something like it, something that hits hard, then run without overworking and practicing it. I see everyone trying so hard… and you know what I see in Stevie’s first, no stress, no I’m sending this viral - she is a commercial her first run, perfect, raw. I thought, even as a choreographer of the original piece, that after a few years the same emotion and precision that you did it with before, that you would lose it now. Everyone did amazing but Galen just owns this, imo. Her control and restraint is just unmatched. She's like a bubbling volcano just threatening to blow, giving off short bursts of energy before bringing us back down again. She really knows how to work the anticipation and play the spaces in between the beats as much as the beats themselves. She's has absolutely mastered the art of holding still and making us wait for it.

OMG totally beautiful. My favorite lady was the one with the jacket that had the tassels. Each woman was really great and even seeing the mask on each one that even added to it. Glad someone came out with tennis shoes on. Wish I could learn how to dance like that but I would dance in my socks. I can no longer wear heels.
