Fun fact: All EU versions of this game were censored (probably to appease the German USK) in that the ability to explode heads was removed. However, when enemies were killed by Rion overloading, it made it seem like a major artery burst in their heads and they were bleeding out of some orifice in their face, which, strangely, was even more disturbing.

One of those rockstone games that build your mind and character and only in adulthood you actually know that the influence at yours choices and paths in life was way more than you thought was possible... that's MY game... and after weeks playing, I remember the third disk making trouble at the very end, almost, almost can't finish the game

​@@greasy8394 it could be like Silent Hill 2 REMAKE or resident Evil 2 Remake with the 3rd person over shoulder perspective. The GAME could use psychic powers as a main weapon as it was in the ORIGINAL, have puzzles, have items' and resources' collecting and management and of course be from a survival horror genre.

Loved it as a kid and still do. I own Galerians + Galerians Ash for PSX & PS2. A totally different game but exactly right up my alley in terms of setting, lore, characters etc. Sad we never got more games. I was so stressed and disturbed as a kid in the hotel section when more and more people were brutally murdered by Rita & Rainheart. And just now I realized that the intro was cut in my version (and if the intro is cut, I'm sure there's more in the game). Great to learn decades later that the PAL version was cut lmao. In the PAL version, the opening ends before the bloody corridor. The singing at the end of the opening is amazing.

Ah...just hearing that classic tone from the PS1 start up screen makes me nostalgic. Me and my little bro loved this game as kids. I rarely hear anything about it on youtube despite the ps1 aesthetic being sort of a trend for the last few years.

I remember this was the very first single player game I played and I was 9 years old (way too young I know but it looked cool). Had no idea what I was doing for the most part but blowing up heads was pretty crazy and entertaining. Never finished it unfortunately then lost it in a move. I was surprised that no one knew the game I was talking about whenever I tried to describe it but Im happy to find it has a little cult following online and now thanks to this playthrough I can finally see how it ends

I’m playing the German PAL version on PS2 Slim and noticed several sound bugs: Footstep sometimes sound weird, like a short “blip” sound. The sound is delayed when going through the menu to choose items. And the game constantly plays the wrong sound samples, like repeating weird thump sounds or a woman being hit and screaming whenever I use the elevator in the hotel. Has someone else experienced that?

Late reply but that's because PS2 Slim uses emulation to play PSX games unlike the fat model which has actual PS1 hardware inside it.
