Hermoso lugar, con mucha historia, fue creado en el siglo 19 , en 1888. Fue la sucursal Argentina de las tiendas Au Bon Marche de Paris, por el arquitecto y diseñador Roland Le Vaucher se inspiro en las galerias Europeas como Vittorio Emanuelle II , de Milan ,Italia. Algunos de los importantes pintores de los murales fueron,Antonio Berni y Juan Carlos Castagnino. Tambien ahi se encuentra el centro cultural Borges.

When I came to visit Buenos Aires as a child, we would always stay at a hotel right around the corner. Galerias Pacifico hasnt changed in 20 years and I love that :)

Lo que más me gusta de ese lugar es que lo conservan muy bien y no pretenden hacerlo ultra moderno. Mantiene ese encanto característico de la Buenos Aires clásica. Galerías Pacífico is my favourite shopping mall!! ❤ It's got regal class, art, history and fantastic shops. I was working nearby in 1990 when they were building it up on the original place and indeed they did quite an amazing job!! Prices are usually expensive, like in any other mall but not more expensive than in any other branch of the same brands. There's a wide range of shops, from average to top, which makes it more affordable for us locals. Anyway, just to look around and have a cup of coffee is still a good plan. There are also guided tours of the ceiling art in Galerías, both in Spanish and English and I want to take one. Smoking is not allowed in enclosed places in our dear Buenos Aires, thanks God for that!

Once I spent a night shift there. I worked for a bookstore chain and they offered some money for updating their Pacifico store inventory. This was done once the mall closed. After midnight, I had to look for the toilet and the experience to walk through this mall in the dark was surreal, even more, a thunderstorm broke out and the rain hitting the glass roof added for an unforgettable experience. This building is also the seat of the Centro Cultural Borges. I took an art nude photography course there.

I'm also found of mall centers! You should check the Abasto shopping next. It has a kids museum, which is a theme park based on many jobs that might interest a kid on doing when they grow up. Others worth checking out are Dot Baires & Unicenter for general shopping and gourmet course, Norcenter for furniture (and I believe it also has the cheapest cinema, but I could be wrong) and Tortuguitas mall, that has a huge toy store.

These magnificent buildings are the legacy of that golden age that Argentina had many years ago. In the provincial capitals there are also majestic buildings. Mendoza, Cordoba, San Miguel de Tucumán and Salta have very old buildings with a very Spanish, French or colonial style. If you like to see majestic buildings, I suggest you visit the National Congress. On Brazil Street, which is next to the building, there is a door where there are police officers and with guided tours you can see the interior of the building. They will take you to see the chamber of deputies, the Senate chamber, the library, the refectory and even from a few meters the office of the Vice President of the Nation, also the central hall where you will see the flags and coats of arms of all the provinces, and other conference rooms. Admission was free before. I'm not sure if they'll let you film. Other majestic buildings are the churches of Luján, in the city of Luján, which is 70 km north of the Federal Capital, and also the government buildings of the province of Buenos Aires that are in the city of La Plata, 50 km south of the Federal Capital. La Plata has an impressive church, the governor's palace, and the state legislature.

You should go to the little towns which are the core of argentina… Buenos Aires province, Santa Fe, Cordoba, San Luis, Mendoza, etc… life is quiet, slow paced, great places to grow up as crime is extremely low and poverty low. If you are seeking for opportunities, Neuquen is the place with all the amazing petrol and gas projects going on there

I think you can film but without gimbal in private enclosed areas. I've been in a museum where they didn't let me film with a camera, but with a 4k cell phone without gimbal, they didn't have any problems.
