One of my fave red decks is Gallantmon and I've been running it since BT12. It's nice to get a new look at this deck, most videos are 4 months to 2 years old, and this has been very informative. I will be implementing some of the card ratios/choices into my own deck. Great vid. Will you be looking at Myotismon any time soon? I came third with my deck last week.

I agree that the dp deletion boosting is crucial in this format. Getting up to 7-8k dp deletion prevents decks like devas from going into ace plays that can destroy this deck.

I mean it did win the EU regional. So not as bad as most of us thought it was but that new support is absolutely fire. Going to be awesome

Yeah definitely probably took someone that was very dedicated to the deck and been playing it non stop. Not a deck anyone can just pick up and make top cut with like several of the other high performers

Honestly with megidramon, swapping it for another gallant x helps heaps because there are heaps of times you need it the most just for an unsuspend but also early game removal

I debated dropping it to bump something else up but I knew that would get tons of complaints so I left it. It's a neat tech that could come up.

@@BattleReadyInc I constantly play gallant and the megidramon does come up as a good tech but the gallant x is just better imo, you should try making a video on bt5 megidramon with bt13 gallant and Sirius ace (substitute till megidra ace) it’s a fun variant of the deck that works well

its not that bad because non of them are x antibodys, and you run so many training and boosts. You dont need to hit your digi line every turn. Instead you can take 2 turns setting up mem boosts and trainings to find your pieces, then go full stack and clear your opponents digimon.

I thought the same a first but if you consider only 4 megas typically ever Evo on top of them it's not that bad. Like zero said you have all the consistency cards too that allow for very big explosive turns
