Is it ok if I do the drilling before boarding and labeling?

Yes, you can drill after you have clarified the meaning of a lexical item and before you elicit the form from the students. That way students will focus on how the lexical item is pronounced through listening carefully to the teacher while s/he is modelling the language as opposed to trying to read it from the board the way they believe it should sound based on what they can see on the board.
