This still hits every single root nerve in my body. It reduces me to bits and tears. Then, at the same time, its one of the most inspiring and seminal songs in my life (after Steveland, Gaye Junior and the Reverend of course). Best memory seeing these guys at Glastonbury probe 1994ish. That whole Jazz Stage line up was spectacular but Galliano shone the brightest star xxx

You have exquisite taste Jo. I remember it back in the day as a background and rediscovered it recently on Giles Peterson. God Bless X

Hello from Paris..... i'm 50 and (still) listening this band since the begining !!!! And still in love with VALERIE ETIENNE since the begining (now she knows !!!!). Fantastic band !!!

"I'd rather have a dream than a nightmare to come..." and yes, Valerie you're still in my dreams! :-) I just listened to this song again after I don't know how many years and still remember most of the lyrics. I just wish it was still 1992.

Back in the days I did see them live 2 times in Hamburg (on two following days) and later in Kiel. I admit it was mainly because of Valerie. What a woman. Great time.

This was so inspiring back in 1991, and is even more relevant today. AN ALL-TIME GREAT! Lovely as it would be to see Galliano reform, we should just thank them and the originals they tribute for their wonderful work (and GP for publishing it), and spread the word. Not everyone got it first time, apparently

Ah yes, but who supports PEACE nowadays? Evrybodys runnin to hide behind their WMD arsenals! Too bad somebody had to get snobby, and make the really GOOD video of this song "Private". Guess some arent as much into "sharing the luv" as they claim to be?
