Galop Marquis KK IVc/13 - F. Chopin

Hi everyone, I hope you are all doing ok, Today I released a new premiere of Galop Marquis by Chopin. 🎶 This piece is one of Chopin’s rarities and really deserves more recognition!! 😁 It’s in Ab Major and is based on Chopin’s friend’s pet dog running around outside! 🐕 🐶 It starts with bold, powerful chords that really just establish the main idea and theme of the piece. 😁 It requires many repeated notes and has an overall catchy melody that is really evocative, resonating with one’s future. 😊 Then, after repeating the introductory melody, a new part joins also known as the ‘dog’s part’. A tricky left hand supplies the galloping bassline and the melody is very memorable and beautiful! Then the introduction repeats! To get it? Or to make it inverted? 🤔 I used imslp.org to get the sheets but used pdf editor called GIMP to make it reversed. Many other pdf editors also have this option. Hope this helps! 🤩 Have a lovely day 😁
