Hi to all my amazing viewers, I hope your having a wonderful day today, and are happy and well! 😁👋🏼 Today, I performed a wonderful Mazurka in G Minor by Chopin. 😆🎹 This piece is quite well known, especially by people who love Chopin’s music! However, it’s very under-appreciated and this rough diamond is extremely beautiful and easier than you think… 😲🎶 This lively Polish dance, although being in a Minor Key is played quite vivaciously and with very much movement. 👍🏼 It shows a very similar resemblance to a Waltz in the first section (the A section) with bass and chords, and a very elegant melody, full of grace notes. 😍🥰 It’s a really catchy and addicting melody, and can really stay in your head especially when practicing this piece! 😅😂 It starts out in quite a miserable, lonely key of G Minor. 😢😣 However, this is quickly flipped over and the relative key is really prominent in the B Section. This is where the Mazurka elements and emotions really start to develop and emerge as the piece continues. 😊 Its a lovely, lively melody in B flat Major, which is repeated and played very gracefully, as well as melodiously. 🎶🎹 It really has a resemblance of the Polish Folk Dance that this piece is all about! Then, comes a mysterious melody, appearing out of nowhere, a single line of music. With no chords or complexity at all, this heavy, quite powerful monotonous tune is very great at bringing the listeners attention in more depth. 😢 It is played rather shyly yet bold and dark. 😰 This ‘Bridge’ section is then developed to a repeat of the A section through a silky smooth, transition. The piece is ended beautifully and calmly after a decrease in sound and slowing down in tempo. 😊 I hope you enjoyed my video, please don’t forget to Like and Subscribe and leave a request in the google forms link in my channel description! 😊🤩

Your playing brings so much great delight and this has made my Tuesday morning so wonderful. Although I love contemporary music a lot, classical music will always have a special place in my heart because I started my musical journey with classical music. I kind of miss playing classical music after watching you play this. I wonder if I can ever get back to classical music and play classical pieces well now. Anyway, great work there! You are a true classical pianist at heart.

I use a tripod with a 90 degree arm, and a phone mount, and I record in 0.5x zoom. I used to put the tripod on the piano but it shakes too much, so now I put it behind my piano. I got all my equipment from Amazon and it was affordable. Let me know if you have any questions!
