I used to fish there 1983 but I like the Freeport better off the side or pier.

Spider weights work better when there's a lot of wind and current. But when there's not I usually use a 4 or 5 oz pyramid weight

Yes it was probably 10 minutes after I threw my line in the water. I used small full shad .

Your using a spider wieght around jetties? I tried that and got snagged every time then some guy told me to use bank sinkers near rocks

you dont want them big drums. they have white worms all in the meat. use a cork and catch good eating fish there

OMG you sleep with people for the sport of it. And we wonder why the world is the way it is today"No more wondering now" That id not very productive. Killing deer to eat is a sport. I dont see the point in it still.

sling shot Well if I don't fxck'em I guarantee you some one else will, and when we go hunting we do eat what we kill, we try to sell or give away the rest... PS. Deer meat (blended up like gound beef) cooked lil more then half way then mixed-up with diced jalapenos(tomatoes, onions,your choice) and mixed Up with different cheese blends cooked in tamales are awesome! try it out

now days you have to worry about catching something Ajax wont touch and something that will eat penicillin for dessert. I will pass on the tamales there is to much fat in them. That is why i got hunt deer is for a lot less fat in the meat. It wuld defeat my purpose of hunting them.

looks like on the Bolivar side of the ferry. If you ride the ferry from Galveston to Bolivar you will see it on the right.
