Galway have been on the slide for the last few years . No leinster title since 2018 and no win in croke Park since winning 2017 All Ireland.

Scoring 1-2 in a half a game of hurling is quite frankly abysmal. Man down or not. Poor year, big changes needed.

It's not actually correct though. Galway won the Leinster semi-final in 2020 in Croke Park. That's neither here nor there though, nor is the current manager. The main issue has been the lack of development of talented underage players into U20 and then senior.

@@anthonyegan59it shows neither Dublin and definitely Galway are not in the same league as Kilkenny and Limerick. Leinster hurling championship needs to improve and become more competitive. Hopefully with Offaly and Antrim it will. 🙏

You can't teach old dogs new tricks, Galway didn't bring in fresh young players. Dublin have a few older players but brought in fresh new young players. You need youth for the fitness levels of today's game to last 70 minutes like most of the Munster teams have been doing.
