@@scottya2745 No he's correct, the UAR dissolved due to the Chauvinism and dictatorial style with which Nasser attempted to swallow up Syria and institute economic changes not suitable for the Syrian economy. His efforts did not end there, he sought to impose an Arab Nationalist regime over a traditionalist Yemen creating a Vietnam-style war in Yemen which lasted substantially longer than it should have, and his eye for a Pan-Arab state put Egypt at the center of its gravity. Geopolitics is devoid of idealism and born of practical realities, Nasser sought a Pan-Arab state at the interest and advantage of his own state this is a reality you can't reject because it doesn't sound nice.

@Karim Salem I have to say that this information is incorrect. Nasser did win the war in Yemen as the Kingdom of Yemen was successfully overthrown by the Arab Republic of North Yemen. Nasser lost the war in 1967 because the USA sent aid to the opposition and that was much stronger than the Arab Forces. Egypt did win the 1956 War Politically because Britain eventually left the Suez Canal and plus those were three countries against a single country which was unfair and it isn't possible to win militarily, atleast it won politically which makes sense.

The land currently known as Palestine/Israel was never called the Middle East. It was always known as North East Africa up until the late 1800s early 1900s when Britain and the United States started calling it the Middle East obviously to take away the fact that it was a part of Africa. At the time of Christ though that area was split up into two sections. The northern section was the kingdom of Israel in the southern section was the kingdom of Judea. Christ was from the kingdom of Judea. He was a Judean’s. The people that lived in the kingdom of Judea were from multiple groups. The Sadducees, the Pharisees, Essenes, Zealots just to name a few. Nobody was known as a “Jew“. But all these groups did follow the Old Testament. And like so many believers in any religion each group picked and choose what/how much they wanted to believe/follow. But remember they also followed Egyptian/Babylonian pagan books. The word “Jew“ did not exist until the Bible was translated into English for the first time in 1391 by John Wycliffe. He needed an English word to describe a Judean’s. The word was just describing a person from the kingdom of Judea. The word had nothing to do with a religion. The people who lived in the kingdom of Judaiah were Arab and African. They were not white Eastern European Ashkenazy/Khazarian’s. Their occupation was a political and spiritual TRICK👹 placed on the Christians/Muslims of the world starting in 800AD. That is when Bulan the King of Khazaria deceived the world and said him and his people were the descendants of Christ - descendants of the Judean’s. He did this for power and control. And his descendants continue to do it as they moved into Russia. They were the bolsheviks. They continued to play the scam getting their hands on Palestine for the first time in 1917 with the Balfour declaration. And of course the final nail in the coffin being you and resolution 181 in 1948. The true descendants of the kingdom of Judea end of Christ are Africans and Arabs. Not the white Ashkenazi Kazarian‘s/Zionist.

Nobody notices that Nasser made a very serious mistake to side with the soviets after 56 ,even though Eisenhower stood by him and sanctioned Israel in order to leave Sinai in protest of the democratic party and his allies England and France ,even though Nasser at the time had soviet weapons and soviets where intervening in Hungary . Despite all this Nasser decided to be on the soviet side and declared publicly that the soviets helped him .Now there was no reason he should expect the Americans to push Israel off again .
@squaredog65883 жыл бұрын
The Americans chose their side when they refused to fund the Aswan dam and to supply the Egyptian army with more modernized weapons. The USSR didn’t. I know if I were in Nasser’s place I also would have chosen the Soviet Union, because at least they helped Egypt when it needed help

@@squaredog6588 And why would Eisenhower help Nasser and threaten to sanction Israel in protest of his own party ? .You have to understand at the time there was a cold war and USA didn't want Soviets in the region .US was even funding Egypt while it was with the Soviets .Not funding the dam I think had to do with US assessment that it will be demographically damaging .You must understand that all US allies US took good care of ,look at South korea ,Japan ,Taiwan ,Israel .There was no reason why US would not do that for Egypt too ,as it wanted to prove that its system is the best not the communist one .But Nasser thought he can play on both teams and this backfired badly .
@Alikhalil-pi5gv3 жыл бұрын
Nasser publicly opposed communism, and strongly opposed communist dissidents in egypt. the USA had no reason to worry that egypt would become communist, and if USA wasn’t willing to properly offer options of support that aren’t imperialistic in the long run then Nasser had all the reasons to buy soviet weapons. the soviets weren’t looking for imperialistic goals in egypt, they were looking for solidarity, while the west had colonial intentions

Egyptian presidents always were resealable with hight iq unlike iraqi and Libyan leaders ,, sadam invaded Kuwait and long war with iran , Gaddafi was a crazy guy went to fight Egypt after the peace agreement with isreal and fought in chad and lost and did terrorist attacks,, the only war that Egyptians did attack is Yemen by gamal abelnasser and achieved his goals by made Yemen a republic not kingdom like the rest of Arab gulf countries , he didn't attack isreal in 67 war isreal attacked Egypt without Egyptian intentions to go to war with isreal
