After 22 years in power, Gambia's former ruler Yahya Jammeh has left the country, ending a political crisis that lasted for more than a month.
The ex-president lost a presidential election to opposition leader Adama Barrow in December. After initially accepting the result, he then refused to step down, prompting neighbouring countries to send in troops.
Al Jazeera’s Nicolas Haque reports from Dakar in neighbouring Senegal.

I think he was a good leader !! i think he say foreign influence coming in to take over and he wanted to stay in power to let them know they could not I hope the new leader is not a sell out

He's a real sell out (a puppet and clueless)because he couldn't deliver nothing absolutely, nothing.they've swallowed all fund's and started building their own Manson's. Gambia has deeply regretted for voting "Jammeh" out. After, all the significant development he has made.what a disgraced for the Gambia?

According to BBC News, Mr. Jammeh vowed to stay in power for a "billion years" if God wills... Let me rephrase what he has said. I will stay 0 years in power if God wills actually no if people will...
